PMOI Resistance Units respond to Pezeshkian’s Kermanshah trip with anti-regime activities

As Iranian regime president Masoud Pezeshkian carried out a propaganda visit to Kermanshah Province, PMOI Resistance Units delivered a clear and unequivocal message on the ground: this regime holds no legitimacy, and its agents have no place in the cities of a rebellious people.

In a bold defiance of heavy security measures, widespread surveillance cameras, and patrols by the Basij and the Iranian regime’s forces, the Resistance Units in Kermanshah launched a field campaign that included the posting of banners and slogans across city streets and walls, conveying powerful messages to both Pezeshkian and the regime at large.

Among the slogans seen on the walls were:

  • “A thousand executions… this is Pezeshkian’s record”
  • “Leave Kermanshah immediately”
  • “President of the Supreme Leader… partner in every crime”
  • “1,120 executions under Pezeshkian’s term”
  • “Our struggle continues until Iran is free”

These messages were written clearly and prominently in sensitive and exposed locations, demonstrating the organizational audacity and precise planning of the Resistance Units, despite intense security pressures.

This campaign follows recent human rights reports revealing that over 1,120 executions have been carried out since the beginning of Pezeshkian’s presidency. Activists have since dubbed him the “President of the Guillotine”, particularly in light of the mass execution campaigns across various Iranian prisons, including Kermanshah Prison itself.

Pezeshkian’s visit—marketed by the regime as a “field visit by a popular president”—was met with a fiery response from the Resistance Units, who raised the banner: “This is not your place… leave.” This reflects the widespread popular rejection of the electoral farce that brought him to power—an election boycotted by the overwhelming majority of Iranians.

While the regime attempts to mask the depth of its political and social crisis through superficial visits, the Resistance Units in Kermanshah and other cities affirm that the real battle is in the streets, and that the regime is living its final days under the weight of mounting public rage.
