Iran’s rebellious youth show solidarity with political prisoners, attack regime targets

Iran’s rebellious youth, saluting the steadfast political prisoners in Evin Prison who confronted the regime’s henchmen and chanted revolutionary slogans to protest the regime of torture, execution, and massacre, carried out a series of operations against the mullahs’ centers of suppression and crime as follows:

  • Four incendiary attacks against the Imam Sadegh center of fundamentalism and crime in Qaem Shahr
  • Two incendiary attacks against an IRGC Basij base in Kermanshah
  • An incendiary attack on the Fatemeh Zahra center of fundamentalism and crime in Islamabad-e Gharb
  • Targeting the IRGC recruitment center in Kerman
  • Attacking the IRGC’s foundation of corruption and plunder in Tangestan
  • Setting fire to an IRGC Basij unit in Mashhad
  • Setting fire to an IRGC battalion in Behshahr
  • Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Mehrestan
  • Setting fire to government banners, posters, and billboards with images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini, regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and terror mastermind Qassem Soleimani in Kermanshah, Maragheh, Birjand, Malayer, Islamabad-e Gharb, Abhar, and Saravan.

It is recalled that on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, after the sudden and forced transfer of 70-year-old political prisoner Mir Yousef Younesi to a ward for common criminals, political prisoners in Ward 4 of Evin Prison staged a sit-in in front of the guard officer’s office and demanded his return from IRGC member Ghasemi, the criminal head of this ward. Younesi’s surprising and brutal transfer occurred as he and his son, Ali Younesi (an imprisoned elite student), were returning to their ward from the visitation area of Evin Prison. Intelligence agents from the Ministry of Intelligence informed the father and son that, according to orders, they must be held in separate prisons and could not be in the same ward.

A group of political prisoners, taking great risks in a courageous revolutionary act, protested during recreation time in Ward 4 of Evin Prison. While supporting political prisoner Mir Yousef Younesi, they faced the prison’s henchmen and chanted: “Death to the dictator,” “Political prisoners are awake and despise the dictator,” “The threat of abduction no longer works,” “The execution-loving government is apparently unaware of the wrath of the people’s army,” “We swear by the blood of our comrades, we will stand firm until the end,” and “Dictatorship, crime, death to this clerical rule.”

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, a group of female political prisoners in Evin Prison also protested against death sentences by chanting slogans in the prison’s recreation yard. They chanted:

“We, the women’s ward of Evin, united and allied, will stand firm until the abolition of the death penalty”
“Neither suppression nor execution has any effect anymore; the regime of execution will not sleep easily”
“Political prisoners must be freed; the regime of execution must be destroyed”
“This is the final message: if you execute, there will be an uprising”
“We swear by the martyrs, we will stand firm until the end”
“Death to the dictator”
“Prisoners are awake and despise the dictator”

On the same day (May 13, 2025), rebellious youth in Tehran and the cities of Ardabil, Rasht, Bushehr, Robat Karim, Sari, Ghaemshahr, Neyshabur, Isfahan, Arak, Damghan, Kermanshah, Bandar Anzali, Ahvaz, Abadan, Yazd, Mashhad, Hamedan, Kashan, Dezful, and Qazvin held pictures of political prisoners on death row and chanted “No to executions,” which has now become a public demand of the Iranian people, and carried out protest actions.

Khamenei, at a crossroads between death and suicide, tries to stem the tide of uprisings and revolts by intensifying suppression, executions, and an atmosphere of intimidation and suffocation, and by torturing sick prisoners to death, he seeks to silence the voices of steadfast prisoners and justice-seeking rebels. But as the female political prisoners in Evin Prison shouted: “Neither suppression nor execution has any effect anymore; the regime of execution will not sleep easily.”
