The sources of Iran’s destruction during the rule of the mullahs, who are against Iranian culture and history, are numerous.
When the destructive effects encompass political, cultural, social, and economic domains, and when the totality of this destruction reaches the livelihoods and sustenance of the people as well as Iran’s ecosystem, it becomes clear that the intention and goal of destroying Iran are deep-rooted. It is evident that it is planned, organized, and directed by the ruling authority.
What brings attention to this issue is the revelation of the destructive nature of the ruling authority to everyone, especially to the insiders of the regime. For those who recognized the nature of this authority from the early weeks of its rule and have fought against its structure and policies, it was clear that a regime that places freedom at the top of its list of victims would not stop at seizing the lives of the people and the vitality of Iran’s nature.
This is a rule that can be evidenced by observing the relationship between the nature of this regime and the horrifying effects of its destruction in the human, moral, political, cultural, and economic fields.
The accelerating transformation involves the successive deception from Khomeini to Khamenei across Iran, particularly within the regime. Consider an excerpt from a note on the state-run Bahar News website dated May 29, 2024:
“If you type the painful phrase ‘silent death of Persepolis’ into Google, you will find a detailed and scientific report on why and how this ancient identity of Iranians is being gradually destroyed… Iran is coming to an end. This land cannot withstand such destruction and betrayal. The destruction of Iran’s civilization, culture, and even geography has officially been put on the agenda and is now being implemented with greater impudence and persistence and without any pretense.”
Could such a report be found in state media one or two years ago? For many Iranians, the extent and depth of the mullahs’ regime’s betrayal of Iran’s land, history, civilization, and nature have been clear. What has forced the breaking of the regime’s censorship wall, even for its insiders, is the sheer volume of destruction. This is leading to the clarification and cleansing of Iran’s political, social, and cultural landscape from the deceptive and propaganda-driven religious-political evils of the mullahs’ regime.
Now, even the regime’s own loyalists are forced to make admissions. Here is another quote from the same article:
“From the destruction of historical artifacts to the cutting down of trees, from sending thugs to universities as professors to migration policies, from the numerous reports of the destruction and damage to historical and ancient buildings to the continuous production of films and series about and in praise of thugs and knife-wielders, all indicate the final act of a show that narrates the unseen yet destructive termite-like invasion of barbarism into a tall and ancient structure. It is the display of the final blow of savagery to an ancient civilization.”
What do these phrases say?
They say that the fundamental contradiction between Iranian culture and history and the medieval and anti-historical nature of mullahs’ regime has, over time, led to the regime’s failure.
They say that the 44-year delay in acknowledging the regime’s deceit, crimes, and exploitation is only a testament to the awareness and insight of a generation that recognized Khomeini from the beginning of 1979 and predicted the horrifying destruction of “savagery” by the reactionary and the ruinous “ancient civilization.”
In the winter of 1980, the Mojahed newspaper, in an implicit address to Khomeini, warned that “the scope of repression and club-wielding against revolutionary forces and the assassination of PMOI supporters will not end here and will also engulf the people.” The same article warned that “when freedom is not respected, it will undoubtedly lead to the destruction of the economy.” Now, all those predictions are being admitted by the regime’s media after a 44-year delay.
They say that the volume of revelations and clarifications, with the sacrifice of blood, the will to endure, and a series of uprisings, has broken through the walls of the regime’s untold secrets and is set to crush the entirety of its thoroughly corrupt structure.
