The regime’s Health Ministry spokesperson announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers on Monday as 3902 new cases and 4167 patients in dire conditions. These numbers are unprecedented since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. She also added there have been 235 deaths in the past 24 hours, which is the highest daily death toll since the pandemic began, alongside July 28.

“We may be forced to launch field hospitals to accept new patients. At least 200 people are dying each day because of Covid-19, and of course I believe the death rate may actually be far higher,” said Masoud Mardani, a member of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“We could witness a new coronavirus peak. All hospitals are directly or indirectly involved in addressing Covid-19,” said Deputy Health Minister Mohammad Tavakoli on Monday. “Conditions in Tehran and its state hospitals, general, non-government and private hospitals are not good at all. The death toll will most definitely be increasing. In the past few days, we have seen record number of deaths and people being hospitalized across the province,” he added, according to ISNA.

“There are reports from Tehran and nearby cities that they are placing patients in hallways in order to have one person released to find room for a new patient. We are having a high death rate these days. Nearly 200 deaths per day,” said a senior medical expert in Tehran on Saturday. “If this trend continues for another month these numbers will reach 600 per day and another estimate is forecasting 900 deaths per day,” he added, according to the regime’s state TV.

“The virus is spreading across the country, especially in Tehran, and mainly following the lifting of restrictions. These were predicted beforehand,” said another expert at Tehran’s Masih Daneshvari Hospital on Monday. “The highest number of patients placed in ICUs since day one was witnessed in the past few days. The country’s ICU sections are nearly all full of Covid-19 patients. Many other patients that need ICU treatment are still held in general sections,” he added, according to the state-run Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“Our medical professionals are becoming tired and fatigued, and the number of patients in dire conditions are increasing by the day. The virus is spreading out of control. The death rate and percentage due to coronavirus in our ICU sections are remarkably high,” he continued.

“Circumstances in Tehran are very dangerous,” said the deputy head of Masih Daneshvari Hospital on Sunday. “Currently there are 105 hospitals in Tehran that are accepting Covid-19 patients and still there is no room for new patients,” he added, according to the state-run Hamshahri daily.

“Each day 200 new patients are hospitalized in our Covid-19 sections. Currently there 1125 patients hospitalized across [East Azerbaijan] province and conditions are deteriorating every day,” said the deputy dean of East Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to ISNA.

“Shahidzadeh Hospital is completely full of Covid-19 patients and all the sections and beds are allocated to this illness. In the Social Security Hospital there are only four beds empty,” said the dean of Behbahan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to Javan daily, an outlet affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC). Behbahan is a city of Khuzestan province in southwest Iran.

“Right now, we have 773 Covid-19 patients in medical centers across Qom province, of which 140 are in ICUs and their conditions are reported as dire,” said the head of Qom Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to Javan daily.

“The reopening of schools had a significant impact on the latest spread of Covid-19 in [the city of Neyshabur]. If this trend continues the entire medical system of Neyshabur will be faced with an utter crumbling and this is extremely dangerous,” said a member of the regime’s Majlis (parliament) from this city on Sunday, according to the Majlis website.

Head of the Kermanshah Medical Sciences University in western Iran said there is a new high in daily Covid-19 deaths. “In the past few days unfortunately 15 people across this province who were confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 have lost their lives. This is the highest daily death toll to this day,” the spokesperson said on Monday. “Currently there are 527 patients are hospitalized, of which 93 are in ICUs and 25 are in dire conditions and they are under ventilators,” he added, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.
