The regime’s Health Ministry spokesperson announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers on Sunday as 483 new deaths and 13,721 new cases in the past 24 hours, along with 5824 patients being in ICUs. The latter two stats are the highest such numbers in this pandemic. Furthermore, 2801 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

Regime Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has been incredibly angry regarding revelations over the coronavirus catastrophe in Iran. “During the past few days that we have launched an initiative to cover each neighborhood, foreign media outlets and dissidents have all been questioning this plan in Iran and citing various evidence and documentaries to claim it will not be effective. They exaggerate even the very smallest issues,” he said on Monday, according to state TV.

Speaking on the resignation of deputy health minister Reza Malekzadeh, Dr. Sima Mashayekhi, cancer surgery specialist, published a polemic in the state-run Sharq Daily, in which she wrote, “The fact that the health minister vehemently defends traditional treatments and stands against the scientific beliefs of his research and technology deputy, who himself is a well-known figure in the international science community, is a big question mark for the doctors' community and the people who trust the health ministry with their health.”

The dean of West Azarbaijan Medical Sciences University confirmed 23 new Covid-19 deaths on Tuesday, according to Mehr News Agency, affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS). The deputy dean of Shiraz Medical Sciences University said, “In the past night and day, we have witnessed 34 deaths and the total number of deaths has reached 2,229.
