On June 6, in the heart of Zahedan, a city living under the weight of severe repression and intense security surveillance, and amidst a wave of daily executions waged by the regime to intimidate Baluch citizens, Resistance Units carried out bold activities to break the wall of fear. These actions come at a time when the regime is issuing death sentences against supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), which doubles the risk of these activities.

The Resistance Units are organized cells and networks of supporters of the Iranian Resistance active within Iranian cities. Their primary goal is to break the atmosphere of terror imposed by the regime, mobilize public opinion, and keep the flame of resistance burning through various activities such as distributing leaflets and writing on walls, which poses a direct challenge to the machine of repression.
On this day, members of these units in Zahedan spread the slogans and messages of the resistance through handwritten banners and leaflets, boldly affirming their core message that “The struggle continues until a free Iran, without the Shah’s and the mullahs’ dictatorships.”

The slogans focused on a categorical rejection of all forms of dictatorship, whether the Shah’s or the mullahs’, in a clear message that the Iranian people do not seek to replace one tyranny with another. The banners carried slogans such as: “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or Khamenei,” “No to the Shah’s regime, no to the mullahs’ regime, yes to freedom and equality,” “Baluchistan is vigilant, it hates the Shah and the mullahs,” and “Shah and mullahs’ regimes, a hundred years of crime.”
These slogans reflect the deep historical awareness of the young generation, which connects the crimes of the former Shah’s regime with the crimes of the current mullahs’ regime and demands a democratic republic as the only alternative.
The slogans also addressed the regime’s current crimes, with a particular focus on the bloody repression in Baluchestan, where the regime uses execution as a political tool to terrorize ethnic minorities and suppress any dissenting voice in this volatile region.

The slogans included: “The escalation of executions, especially in Baluchestan, reveals the terror of Khamenei and the regime of an explosion of popular anger,” and “You who boast of execution and crime, Moghisieh, Razini, and Raisi are waiting for you” (in reference to the fate of the regime’s executioners).
The slogans also linked repression to the deteriorating economic situation, as they wrote: “As long as this regime is in power, poverty, discrimination, and corruption will increase,” and “The largest part of Iran’s wealth is wasted on nuclear and missile projects and warmongering in the region.”
Faced with this reality, the Resistance Units presented their vision for a solution, stressing that change will only come through organized resistance. The leaflets carried slogans such as: “Uprising and resistance are the only way to salvation from poverty, discrimination, unemployment, and corruption under the rule of the mullahs,” and “The solution to the nuclear bomb program is regime change by the Iranian people and resistance.”
This is a slogan that links the regime’s nuclear threat to regional and international security with the necessity of democratic change in Iran, presenting the resistance as a responsible alternative.

These courageous activities in the heart of Zahedan and under these tight security conditions are proof of the failure of the policy of execution and intimidation pursued by the regime. They are an expression of the firm determination of the Iranian people, especially the young generation, to regain their freedom and sovereignty. The Resistance Units have proven once again that the flame of resistance for a democratic and independent republic will not be extinguished.
