Reported by PMOI/MEK

Iran, July 24, 2019 – On Tuesday, the misogynist regime of Iran hanged two female prisoners in the northwestern city of Urmia.

These prisoners, identified as “Nazdar Vatankhah” and “Arasteh Ranjbar,” were sent to solitary confinement on Monday. According to reports, both women had spent 15 years in prison prior to their execution.

According to international organizations monitoring human rights violations across the globe, Iran has the highest number of executions per cap.

These executions have not been yet reported by official Iranian regime media.

According to a report by the Statistic Center of Iran Human Rights Activists, the brutal regime ruling Iran executed at least 236 people from January 2018 to December 2018.

195 others have been sentenced to death during the same period. These executions, according to the statistic center, include at least six juveniles, and 13 of these executions have been carried out in public.

The Statistic Center further reports that at least 72% of all executions in Iran are carried out in “secret” and are not reported by the regime or by the judicial authorities in Iran.
