Iran, September 16, 2020—A group of retirees protested in front of the Pension Center Organization’s building in the city of Kermanshah, west of Iran, on Tuesday, September 15. They were seen chanting: “Retirees are living in poor conditions” and “We are empty-handed, but officials get high wages.”

On Monday, September 14, bakers in the city of Yazd, central Iran, rallied in front of the city governor's office protesting the unrealistic price of bread based on inflation.
It is worth noting that due to the price of bread bakery workers’ wages do not meet the today’s inflation and their wages are lower than other workers.

Haft Tappeh employees and retirees in Ahvaz holding protest rallies—September 14, 2020
On Monday, September 14, expelled employees of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company held a protest rally in front of the governorate in the city of Shush in Khuzestan province, southwest Iran, demanding an immediate return to work and being employed based on permanent contracts.
Also, on Tuesday, September 15, retired workers in the city of Ahvaz, southwest Iran, held a protest rally in front of the Khuzestan province's Social Security Department.

On Monday, September 14, a group of workers of the Iran Tractor industrial group held a gathering to protest the company’s transfer to the private sector and seeking their legitimate rights.
According to the workers, since the privatization of this company their problems have doubled and their paychecks have always been delayed for several months.
Company officials are also refusing to deposit a portion of the workers’ insurance premiums to the Social Security Department’s account since last March.
