“Some cities and towns in Khuzestan are now considered red zones. We also have cities and towns in other provinces that were yellow and are now yellow. This is a warning for all of us, meaning we are headed for a fourth peak,” said regime President Hassan Rouhani after a long delay. “It takes two to ten years for a vaccine to become fully reliable… It is still not clear how effective this vaccine is. There are different numbers regarding how long this vaccine will provide adequate protection. Three months, six months, one year. It is still not clear which vaccine is the most effective. It is also not clear if these vaccines are reliable against the mutated version of Covid-19,” he added in his new series of lies as fear of escalating public anger grows regarding the regime’s delay in providing the vaccine.

“A hard period is beginning for us and we must be ready to fight off this very resilient and mutated virus,” said Health Minister Saied Namaki on Saturday. “This virus may also be mutating in our own country,” he added, according to state TV.

“Khuzestan province is witnessing the highest number of new cases and nine cities are considered red zones,” said Alireza Raisi, spokesperson of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Saturday. “In West Azerbaijan we are also witnessing a surge. A total of nine cities and towns are red, 39 are orange, 228 are yellow and 172 are blue zones. We have four red cities in East Azerbaijan province, two in Isfahan, five in Khuzestan, one in South Khorasan, one in Kerman, three in Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmad and Golestan, seven in Gilan and eight in Mazandaran,” he added, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“Currently all of our ICU beds of Taleghani Hospital in the city of Abadan are full of patients and the other beds are 80 percent full. The medical apparatuses in the cities of Abadan, Khorramshahr and Shadegan cannot see to more Covid-19 patients,” said the dean of Abadan Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“The first patient suffering from the UK strain of Covid-19 died in Alborz province,” said the spokesperson of Alborz Medical Sciences University’s Covid-19 Task Force on Friday, according to the state-controlled Khabar Fouri website.

“The entire province is on full alert in order to take measures to prevent a fourth wave because the consequences will be far more serious and there will definitely be more casualties,” said the governor of Alborz province on Saturday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalized since late January has increased by 15 percent and it is gradually increasing. This week the number of orange and yellow cities of our province increased while the number of blue cities and towns decreased,” said the spokesperson of Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“The alarm bell has sounded. The cities of Jam, Daylam, Kangan and Ganaveh that were previously blue zones are now considered yellow zones. The city of Bushehr had become a yellow zone weeks ago,” said the secretary of the Bushehr Province Covid-19 Task Force, according to the Mehr news agency.

The dean of Golestan Medical Sciences University said on Saturday that the number of Covid-19 patients are increasing in this province. “Currently 410 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, of which 50 are in ICUs and 40 are under ventilators,” this official added, according to the Mehr news agency.
