Iran, July 11, 2019 – As the Iranian regime sinks deeper into the swamp of destitution, the threat of another popular uprising, which would this time uproot the regime, is on the horizon.
According to some of the regime’s analysts, people are losing their patience after 40 years of poverty, war and human rights abuses, and even the smallest incident could trigger and ignite the fire of uprising, turning to ashes the entirety of this moribund regime.
On July 4, the state-run newspaper, Resalat wrote, "Currently, our society's soul is in a state of turmoil, and any excuse can trigger an explosion."
“A considerable amount of social media attention is dedicated to the daily news of uncontrollable anxiety, wild moral inelegances and decrease of citizens’ level of patience,” another state-run newspaper Ebtekar wrote on July 4.
These words only elucidate the picture of a frustrated society, after four decades of dictatorship. These are indications of an imminent eruption of another uprising which will certainly topple this regime.
