Iran, June 28, 2019 – Protests reports are increasing across Iran as tensions between the mullahs’ regime and the international community grow throughout the Middle East.

On Thursday, workers of the Bid-Boland 2 refinery in the city of Behbahan of Khuzestan Province in southwest Iran went on strike, protesting the expulsion of their colleagues by refinery officials.

In Shahin Shahr of Isfahan Province in central Iran, municipality workers held a rally and went on strike, protesting not receiving their wages or any answers to their demands. This gathering was held outside the Shahin Shahr governorate office.

In Gachsaran of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province in southwest Iran, physicians of the Valfajr specialist clinic continued their strike for the third consecutive day, protesting not receiving their delayed wages or any answers to their demands.

“On behalf of my colleagues and myself, we express our apologies to the people and patients of my city for the physicians’ absence in the Valfajr clinic. We physicians, like all other working classes, have our own problems,” said one of the clinic physicians.

“To this day, we have held many meetings seeking to resolve these problems with the relevant officials and authorities. They have been fruitless and we have written many letters and requests regarding the fact that we have not received any answers to the problems raised by the physicians. City and provincial officials are informed, and unfortunately there have been no serious measures despite the passing of several months,” the physician continued.

In Firuzabad of Fars Province in southcentral Iran, a group of people held a rally on Thursday protesting the activities of construction companies in this area that is destroying the nation’s national and historic monuments.

The protesters held a placard written, “Destroying the environment = Destruction of life. We want clean air with a clean earth.”
