“We are currently experiencing the harshest conditions yet in Tehran’s hospitals since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The total number of people hospitalized reached 9400 yesterday, of which 2600 are in ICUs. 1600 patients were released yesterday, while we had 2000 new patients hospitalized,” said Alierza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Tuesday. “Each day we have more than 20,000 people seeking initial medical care for Covid-19 symptoms. In addition to the 9600 people currently hospitalized, each day we have 4200 patients using temporary hospitalization facilities. If these numbers are added to those hospitalized in hospitals, the number of people seeking medical care would be significantly high,” he added, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“Conditions in Tehran’s Beheshte Zahra Cemetery is critical and unimaginable. Coronavirus doesn’t recognize old or young.
