Iran: Borazjan people protest, ‘Death to the Dictator’

Iran, July 8, 2018 – A large crowd of people from Borazjan (Bushehr province in southern Iran) protested on Sunday, July 8th for the second day in a row with the slogan "Death to the dictator."

The demonstration is taking place near the Mellat Bank and the Hospital Square.

 

 

The people of Borazjan, who protested against the city's water crisis, chanted

'Death to the Dictator.' They also chanted 'Do not be afraid, we are all together', and 'Iranian compatriots, show your zeal.'

The demonstration took place while repressive state security agents were deployed to the main streets of the city on Sunday morning to prevent any demonstrations.

 

 

On Saturday, people of Borazjan protested also chanting 'Death on the Dictator,' and 'the enemy is here, they lie to say it the US,' and 'not Gaza, nor Lebanon, my life for Iran.' Many protesters also chanted 'Leave Syria, think about us.' The protest continued through late hours of the night.
