The imperative of combating the terrorism of Iran’s regime

After the assassination attempt against Dr. Alejo Vidal Quadras, the Chairman of the International Committee in the pursuit of justice, attention once again turned towards state terrorism in Tehran, and many personalities, media outlets, and international organizations reacted to it.

Emanuele Pozzolo, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Parliament, said that the Iranian regime is currently the foremost supporter of terrorism in the world. The extremism of the mullahs is becoming a serious and prominent problem for the entire world.

In an article in Townhall, Ken Blackwell, former US Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Commission, stated: “In the aftermath of Tehran’s recent warmongering in the Middle East last month, the ominous specter of the Iranian regime’s designs materialized once more in a chilling act of terrorism on the streets of Madrid on Thursday. Prominent Spanish politician, Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, President of the International Committee in Search of Justice and former Vice President of the European Parliament, was shot in the face in broad daylight. The audacious act of terror serves as a stark wake-up call to the escalating audacity of Tehran’s mullahs. ”

However, an important and shocking news that attracted attention after the “wake-up call” was the German police raid on terrorist centers affiliated with the Iranian regime in German cities. On Friday, November 16, the German Ministry of Interior issued a press release announcing the investigation and search at the Islamic Center of Hamburg (ICH) and 54 other locations in seven German states.

In its statement, the German Ministry of Interior states that the aim of the activities of the ICH is to support the leadership of the Iranian regime, which is suspected of being hostile and contrary to the German constitution and in violation of international agreements.

According to German media reports, in this major attack, over 500 police forces were involved, and 58 buildings across Germany were targeted. During the raids, the officers also seized potential evidence, especially mobile phones, computers, and documents.

The reality is that these centers were directly controlled and directed by the Khamenei and the regime in Tehran over the years. The Iranian resistance has repeatedly alerted the German government about the regime’s espionage threats and the expansion of mafia-style terrorist groups and assassinations. The Resistance also emphasized the necessity of closing down and shutting embassy and regime centers.

It was evident to everyone that in the documents and recorded notebooks of the diplomat terrorist Assadollah Assadi, who was arrested by German security agencies in July 2018, it became clear that the so-called Islamic Center of Hamburg was one of the communication hubs and meeting places for him with agents, mercenaries, and operatives of the Iranian regime. In just one of these notebooks, there were 289 entries and references, out of which 144 were related to Germany.

The diplomat terrorist was one of the senior officers of the Ministry of Intelligence of the ruling regime in Iran, who, under the title of the third secretary of the Iranian embassy in Vienna, was directing a spy network of the regime in Europe.

The German domestic security organization published a report in July 2012 about the espionage activities of the Iranian regime, in which it stressed that one focal point of the Iranian regime’s espionage activities is the identification of exiled opposition members within the Iranian community residing in Germany. The security organization warned that the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in particular, are central to these espionage activities of the Iranian regime. Additionally, VAVAK, the Iranian regime’s ministry of intelligence, demonstrates a keen operational interest in identifying targets in Germany, particularly in the areas of foreign policy and security, the domestic security agency said.

Four decades of organized terrorism by Iran’s regime in Europe and the United States clearly demonstrate that all embassies, representative offices, and Iranian regime’s centers and facilities in Germany and other European countries have no mission other than espionage and terrorist actions. As the Iranian resistance has continuously emphasized, the closure of embassies and representative offices of this regime in Germany and Europe, as well as the expulsion of agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are necessary to combat the terrorism of religious fascism and prevent its expansion.
