Iran’s regime shaken by rebellious youths and Resistance Units after Raisi’s death

As Iran’s regime continues to reel from the aftermath of the irreparable blow of the death of the Ebrahim Raisi the Executioner of 1988 massacre, the widespread activities of PMOI Resistance Units in various cities have shaken the foundations of the regime.

At the same time, rebellious youth, coinciding with the anniversary of the death of mullahs’ regime found Ruhollah Khomeini, burned banners and posters of regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei, Raisi, and former IRGC Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in the streets and squares of the cities.

In an article for Townhall, Ken Blackwell, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, wrote: “Last weekend, the Iranian regime was thrust into turmoil with the deaths of President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir Hossein Abdollahian in a helicopter crash in Iran. This represents a significant setback for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who now faces an intensified crisis and a more precarious grip on power.”

Blackwell added: “This episode will act as a catalyst for a population disillusioned by the prevailing socio-political and economic conditions. Particularly among the younger generation, there exists a profound disdain for all that Raisi epitomized, viewing his demise as a pivotal juncture. The sustained demonstrations witnessed across Iran underscore a palpable yearning for justice and accountability. Moreover, the emergence of thousands of courageous activists across the country, operating as small teams of Resistance Units, has posed a formidable challenge to the regime’s oppressive machinery.”

The death of Raisi, the actions of the rebellious youths, the activities of the Resistance Units with slogans like “Woman, Resistance, Freedom” and “Death to the Oppressor, be it the Shah or the Mullahs” in the cities, has shown the world that the Iranian people and their vanguard are determined to free Iran from the grip of the regime of massacres.

Recognizing this legitimate right of the resistance units against the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) is now one of the urgent demands of the resistance and a key factor in the progress of the Iranian people’s uprising to overthrow the inhumane enemy.

A joint statement by 553 lawmakers from the United Kingdom, the majority of representatives from the parliaments of the Canton of Geneva, Wales, Malta, Estonia, Moldova, and the majority of the Italian Parliament, calls for “the terrorist designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and recognizes the right of MEK Resistance Units to confront the IRGC.”

The majority of the members of the Dutch Senate have also called for the designation of the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization and the recognition of resistance against the Revolutionary Guards, joining the global campaign to support the resistance and the resistance units.

Ryszard Czarnecki, a member of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament, said at the grand meeting of the European Parliament in Strasbourg: “The European Union must immediately put IRGC on its terrorist list. We need to support the PMOI Resistance Units inside Iran and recognize their right to fight against the regime.”

At a parliamentary session in the Victor Hugo Hall of the French National Assembly, Hervé Saulignac, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Committee for a Democratic Iran, stressed that the Iranian people are more determined than ever to overthrow the regime, despite the repression they face. He also called on Western governments to stop doing business with Tehran and to instead support the Iranian opposition. He said that this would send a clear message to the regime that it is not welcome in the international community.

Then André Chassaigne, head of the Communist Group and Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for a Democratic Iran, referring to the French people’s resistance against the Nazi occupation, said: “I say this with strength, but also with emotion: The Resistance Units of the PMOI in Iran only embody this right that our ancestors recognized two centuries ago and that our parents exercised in the face of Nazi occupation and atrocities.”
