Iran revolution continues with protests by Balochis, other sectors

Latest update – 3:30 pm CET

Iran’s courageous Balochis are continuing the country’s protests against the mullahs’ regime with their weekly campaign of relentless demonstrations against the ruling theocracy. Baloch protesters were in the streets again on Friday in the city of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan & Baluchestan Province, chanting against any form of dictatorship that has been oppressing the Iranian people for decades on.

People throughout the country are specifically holding the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei responsible for their miseries, while also condemning the oppressive the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and paramilitary Basij units, alongside other security units that are on the ground suppressing the peaceful demonstrators.

Protests in Iran have to this day expanded to at least 282 cities. Over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 are arrested by the regime’s forces, according to sources of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The names of 664 killed protesters have been published by the PMOI/MEK.

Various medical personnel in the cities of Tehran and Ilam began rallying on Saturday morning and protesting the regime’s corrupt policies in their field of work and related industries. The protesters were chanting slogans against the regime’s Health Minister and demanding his resignation.

A group of workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company in Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, held a gathering today protesting the company officials’ refusal to address their demands. In other news, regime operatives launched a chemical gas attack targeting the all-girls Kowsar and Setayesh schools in the city of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan Province, leaving a number of students ill.

On Friday night people in Tehran’s Shahrak-e Bagheri and Narmak districts began chanting anti-regime slogans, including:
“Death to Khamenei! Damned be Khomeini!”
“Death to the dictator!”
“Death to the IRGC!”
“Death to the child-killing regime!”

Early reports on Friday showed security forces deployed in the city of Rask to prevent locals from assembling for anti-regime protests.

In Zahedan, a large crowd gathered after the Friday prayers to hold their weekly anti-regime protests. The protesters chanted slogans against the regime and demanded the release of political prisoners who are lingering in the regime’s dungeons.

The protesters in Zahedan also chanted “Death to the child-killing regime!” condemning the regime for its poison gas attacks against schoolgirls in dozens of cities, causing more than 1,000 children to fall ill.

Protesters continued their rallies despite heavy security presence and underlined their main demand with the slogan, “Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!” At the same time, they stressed their right to self-defense and also expressed their solidarity with the people of other parts of Iran, including Kurdistan, where the regime has also taken extreme repressive measures.

The children of Zahedan expressed their hatred of the regime by setting fire to the photos of mullahs’ regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and chanting anti-regime slogans. These acts of resistance are taking place despite the regime showing ruthlessness even toward children in recent months, targeting them with poison gas attacks.

Iranian opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi hailed the Balochis in their relentless anti-regime protests and their continuous efforts in condemning and exposing the mullahs’ crimes.

“A heartfelt salute to my Baluch compatriots and the fearless warriors of Zahedan! Even amidst the threat of arrests, abductions, executions, and repression, you filled the streets this Friday with your cries of ‘Freedom, Freedom!’ and ‘Death to the child-killing regime!’ Your freedom-loving roar and unwavering determination to overthrow the regime are an inspiration to all. The democratic revolution shall prevail!” the NCRI President-elect emphasized.

Elsewhere in Iran, people gathered in Arak for the funeral of Mohsen Shojaei, one of the protesters who was murdered by regime authorities. Shojaei was arrested during the funeral of Mahsa Mogooi, a protester who was killed during the nationwide anti-regime rallies. Shojaei was brutally tortured and drugged while he was in prison. He entered a state of coma due to the torture and died in a hospital from his wounds.

The protests in Iran began following the death of Mahsa Amini. Mahsa (Zhina) Amini, a 22-year-old woman from the city of Saqqez in Kurdistan Province, western Iran, who traveled to Tehran with her family, was arrested on Tuesday, September 13, at the entry of Haqqani Highway by the regime’s so-called “Guidance Patrol” and transferred to the “Moral Security” agency.

She was brutally beaten by the morality police and died of her wounds in a Tehran hospital on September 16. The event triggered protests that quickly spread across Iran and rekindled the people’s desire to overthrow the regime.
