Iran, June 2019 – On Monday, various Iranian cities witnessed protests against the regime’s refusal to respond to the people’s basic demands. In Tehran, retirees protested outside the regime’s Retirees’ Fund headquarters located on the capital’s Fatemi Avenue.
Moreover, railroad workers in Nooabad, Shazand, and Arak rallied and protested for their paychecks that have been delayed for several months.

Workers in Arak, central Iran, are one of several labor communities who are constantly protesting to reclaim their unpaid wages.
In Gachsaran, southwest Iran, workers of the Chashmir Dam held a rally in front of the governor's office protesting not receiving their 12-month delayed wages.
It is worth noting that for almost a year, the dam’s workers are trying to receive their pensions form Sabir and Geotechnical Company. They have only received two months' worth of their due salaries.
