Regime voicing concerns over Iranian opposition PMOI/MEK “Resistance Units”

Iran, Feb. 18, 2019 – Ali Ghassemian, an expert of the Iranian regime’s inner circle, voiced grave concerns over the escalating activities of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) “Resistance Units” in numerous countries across the country.

“Today, the [PMOI/MEK] are attempting to make contact with our younger generation through social media platforms… They are guiding them to set billboards and signs on fire, hold images of [PMOI/MEK] while chanting against the state. They are calling this ‘Resistance Units,’” he wrote in the state-run Vatane Emruz daily.

In Khorramabad, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 424 set fire to a similar poster while chanting “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

Also, Members of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) network inside the country are braving all odds and dangers to increase their measures targeting the Iranian regime’s icons.

 

 

Members of a resistance unit in Urmia, northwest Iran, set fire to a poster of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei while marking the martyrdom of PMOI/MEK heroes and heroines, and chanting, “Hail to Rajavi.”

 

 

In Sabzevar, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 442 set fire to a poster of Khomeini and Khamenei.

In Tehran, members of a resistance unit set fire to a Khamenei poster on the Tehran-Karaj highway heading out west of the capital.

Members of Resistance Unit 810 in Behshahr, northern Iran, set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster located on a boulevard. They also left a sign at the scene reading, “We members of resistance units have sworn to continue the struggle until the mullahs’ regime is overthrown and freedom is established for the Iranian people.”

Members of resistance units in Tehran put up posters of Massoud Rajavi while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”

In Sabzevar, northeast Iran, members of a resistance unit also put up posters quoting Massoud Rajavi saying, “Victory is ours – Tomorrow is ours.”

Members of a resistance unit in Shiraz put up a large poster quoting Maryam Rajavi saying, “The cry for freedom and uprisings strengthens with each passing day.”

In West Azarbaijan Province of northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 585 put up posters commemorating martyrs of the Dec 2017 / Jan 2018 uprising and a Massoud Rajavi sign.

Members of Resistance Unit 260 in Omidiyeh, southwest Iran, put up posters of Maryam Rajavi in various parts of the city.

In Shahin Shahr of Isfahan Province, central Iran, members of resistance units took to graffiti in various parts of the city to write, “Death to Khamenei/Rouhani,” the latter being the regime’s president, and “Hail to Rajavi – Freedom – Death to the dictator – Hail to the National Liberation Army of Iran – Hail to Maryam Rajavi.”

Members of resistance units in the cities of Sabzevar, Darab of Fars Province, Sarpol-e Zahab, Karaj, Golpaygan and Malayer also took to graffiti to write similar slogans.
