Iran, July 25, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are expressing their support for the recent “Free Iran” rally in Stockholm. Thousands of Iranians participated in the massive rally and expressed their readiness in the effort to establish a free and democratic Iran.
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 671 targeted a large poster near a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij base, containing images of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini, by setting it on fire.
It is worth noting that the U.S State Department designated the IRGC as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” (FTO).
In Saqqez, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 656 set fire to a large Khamenei billboard.
In Bonab, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 566 set fire to a large billboard belonging to the regime’s security entities.
In Kerman, southcentral Iran, members of Resistance Unit 560 set fire to a sign close to an IRGC Basij base.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 453 set fire to another IRGC Basij base sign.
In Zahedan, southeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 825 set fire to an IRGC Basij sign to express their hatred of the mullahs’ regime and its entities.
In West Azerbaijan Province, located in northwest Iran, a large Khamenei billboard was set on fire by members of Resistance Unit 643.
In Sistan & Baluchistan Province, located in southeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 555 set fire to another Khamenei billboard.
In Mahabad, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 352 also set fire to a large Khamenei billboard.
In East Azerbaijan Province, located in northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 605 set fire to a large Khamenei poster.
