Iran, Feb. 23, 2019 – Members of Resistance Units, a network linked closely to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside the country, are further expanding their activities aimed at ending the atmosphere of fear imposed by the mullahs’ regime across the country.
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 313 set fire to a poster containing images of Iranian regime founder Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This poster was placed located on the capital’s Janbaz Avenue.
Members of Resistance Unit 222 in Karaj, west of Tehran, set fire to a Khamenei poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Shahreza, central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 214 set fire to Khamenei posters while chanting “Death to Khamenei.”
Members of a resistance unit in Urmia, northwest Iran, set fire to a Khomeini poster, expressing their hatred to the regime leader who hijacked the Iranian people’s 1979 revolution.
