Iran, October 24, 2019—Supporters of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in cities across Iran are marking the election anniversary of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi as President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi presided over a NCRI session meeting back in 1993 that resulted in the election of Mrs. Rajavi as the NCRI President-elect for the transition period after the regime’s overthrow to oversee the process of transferring power to the Iranian people and hold elections for a new parliament and thus president of the new republic.
