Continuing their campaigns against Iran’s tyrannical regime, on Friday, June 20, 2024, Iran’s rebellious youth attacked symbols and institutions of the regime and its leaders.
These activities come on the heels of other similar acts in recent days, with rebellious youth setting fire to symbols and bases of suppression in the cities of Kermanshah, Urmia, Islamabad-e Gharb, Shiraz, Bushehr, Tehran, Ramian, and Zahedan.
In this new round of acts of defiance, the rebellious youth set fire to billboards and images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and current supreme leader Ali Khamenei, as well as banners of Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the IRGC Quds Force:
- Setting fire to a billboard and banner of Khamenei in Tehran
- Torching a billboard of Khomeini and Khamenei in Mashhad
- Setting fire to a symbol of Soleimani in Mashhad and Kerman
The rebellious youth also targeted centers of repression, including headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and Basij:
- Incendiary attacks on two Basij centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran
- An attack at the IRGC Basij district in Nazarabad, Alborz province
- Setting fire to a regime building for repression in Rudboneh, Gilan province
- An attack on a regime building for repression in Fuladshahr
- Three attacks on a regime building in Khuzestan province (Ahvaz)
- An attack on a headquarters of the repressive security forces in Kermanshah
- Incendiary attacks against two IRGC Basij centers in Khorramabad
- An attack on a regime building for repression in Behbahan
- An attack against the state-controlled Khomeini Committee in Isfahan
- Attack an IRGC Basij base in Mashhad
- Setting fire to at an IRGC Basij base in Golbahar, Mashhad
- An incendiary attack against a IRGC Basij base in Mashhad
- Attack against a regime building for repression in Kermanshah
- Attack against an IRGC Basij base in Kiashahr, Gilan province
- Attack against a regime building for thievery and corruption in Salmas
- Incendiary attack against a center of fundamentalism and crime in Aliabad, Golestan province
- Attack against the Mostafa Khomeini Basij base in Mashhad, a base tasked with suppressing students
- Setting fire to two IRGC Basij centers in Sardasht
Setting fire to images of Khamenei and striking centers of suppression and crime, under the security cameras of the IRGC, demonstrates the capacity and capability of the uprising creators and the inability of Khamenei in the current conditions. In addition to burning banners of Khamenei, the rebellious youth set fire to many of his espionage organs and suppressive bases as follows:
- Tehran – Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base
- Sabzevar – Setting fire to regime buildings
- Tehran – Setting fire to a signboard of an IRGC espionage headquarters
- Shahivand, Khorramabad – Setting fire to a headquarters of the Khomeini Committee
- Shiraz – Setting fire to a regime building associated with plundering and looting the people’s wealth
- Khash – Setting fire to an IRGC Basij center
- Sarbaz – Setting fire to the signboard of an espionage headquarters of the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS)
Thus, the brave rebellious youth, by setting fire to symbols of Khamenei and delivering fiery blows to the institutions and centers under his command, lit the guiding light of fiery uprisings for the oppressed people. In the face of the regime of execution and massacre, the clear message of June 20th is: Uprising, fire, and perseverance until victory.
