PMOI Resistance Units persist in their activities despite repression by Iran’s regime

The PMOI Resistance Units continue their anti-regime activities across various cities in Iran, reaffirming their commitment to achieving democratic change. These activities include distributing leaflets, displaying pictures of resistance leaders with their quotes, and spreading anti-regime slogans on walls and banners in urban areas. Below is a summary of their recent efforts:

In Isfahan, banners carried slogans such as “Let the world know Massoud Rajavi is our leader,” marking the anniversary of the Iranian Resistance leader’s release from the dungeons of the shah dictatorship in 1979. They also installed banners with the slogan “No to executions, political prisoners must be released,” reflecting their opposition to the regime’s oppressive policies.

In Hamedan, banners displayed slogans like “Khamenei, you murderer, we will bring you down. We support Mrs. Rajavi’s 10-point plan for a free and democratic Iran” and “Down with the oppressor, whether the shah or the mullahs,” emphasizing their defiance of all forms of tyranny.

In Karaj, banners carried messages such as “We must overthrow the regime entirely and reclaim Iran,” calling for a unified and comprehensive uprising.

In Zanjan, banners highlighted the importance of organized resistance with slogans like “The only path to freedom is the National Liberation Army.”

In Shiraz, the Resistance Units spread banners urging broader participation, saying: “Establish uprisings in every city.”

In Ardebil, graffiti and banners bore the message: “No to the shah, no to the mullahs, yes to democracy and freedom,” reaffirming their pursuit of a democratic system.

In Bushehr, banners declared: “Down with the mullahs’ rule, hail to the liberation army,” underscoring their support for organized efforts toward liberation.

In Kermanshah, banners praised women’s role in the struggle with the slogan: “Woman, Resistance, Freedom. Hail to Rajavi.”

These coordinated and widespread activities, spanning from southern to northern Iran and from west to east, reflect the presence of an active resistance base in various Iranian cities. This broad coverage highlights the deeply rooted resistance in Iranian society and its readiness to confront the regime anywhere.

Notably, these activities are being carried out under conditions where the regime has intensified executions, particularly targeting supporters of the PMOI, in an attempt to instill fear and silence the Resistance Units. However, these efforts have backfired, strengthening the resolve and determination of the resistance. Through these actions, the Resistance Units have sent a clear message to the regime: they are prepared to bear any cost for Iran’s freedom.

These efforts underscore the unwavering commitment of the Resistance Units to freedom, justice, and democracy. The ultimate goal remains the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime and the establishment of a free and democratic republic through the unity and resilience of the Iranian people.
