PMOI Resistance Units: “From Zahedan to Tehran, down with the oppressor”

On January 3rd, PMOI Resistance Units in the city of Zahedan intensified their activities to challenge the religious dictatorship through coordinated operations, including distributing leaflets, graffiti, and widespread posting of announcements across the city. These actions came in the face of the regime’s increased executions aimed at intimidating society, showcasing the unwavering determination of these units to achieve freedom for Iran at any cost.

In their activities, the Resistance Units held placards with messages stating: “The legacy of the Bloody Friday martyrs: no negotiation, no surrender, the struggle until the regime’s overthrow.” This slogan reflects the resistance’s persistence and its commitment to justice for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in previous uprisings. The “Bloody Friday of Zahedan” happened in 2022, when regime security forces opened fire on a peaceful protest rally, killing more than 100 civilians, including at least a dozen children.

In another message targeting the oppressive regime, which heavily relies on executions, the units declared: “The response to the destruction of the homes of the deprived Baluch people during winter is protests and regime change.” This statement exposes the regime’s oppressive policies and emphasizes the people’s resolve for change.

The Resistance Units also expressed solidarity with other cities, chanting slogans such as: “From Zahedan to Tehran, death to the oppressor, whether it’s the Shah or the mullahs,” underscoring their rejection of all forms of despotism and their call for justice and freedom for all.

The units affirmed that the people’s will cannot be silenced or suppressed, with a clear message: “The people’s uprising cannot be killed, silenced, or stopped.” This declaration embodies the unyielding spirit of resistance despite ongoing oppression.

The Resistance Units also announced: “The people of the region are marching toward freedom and justice,” emphasizing unity among ethnic and regional groups in their shared quest for liberation and equality. They issued calls such as: “The time has come to overthrow the mullahs’ regime,” signaling the inevitability of the regime’s downfall.

In the face of ongoing repression, the units declared: “Neither daily executions nor anti-women laws can save this regime,” and “Khamenei must know that the response to executions is uprising and fire.” These messages serve as an open call to escalate resistance and expose the regime’s despair.

The Resistance Units expressed their defiance against the regime’s intensifying wave of executions with the slogan: “The increase in executions is a sign of Khamenei’s fear of the uprising of the Baluch people.”

Finally, with the slogan “Neither crown nor turban, freedom and equality,” the Resistance Units reiterated their rejection of all forms of authoritarian rule and reaffirmed their ultimate goal of building a democratic society founded on justice.

The Resistance Units aim to achieve freedom and justice by confronting the oppressive regime and dismantling its authoritarian structure. These units strive to pave the way for a future based on the principles of equality, freedom, and democracy. Their heroic actions stand as a testament to their steadfast commitment to liberating the Iranian people from oppression and tyranny.
