Iranians across Europe rally to condemn the mullahs’ regime

Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held rallies condemning the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran. These rallies were held in recent days in Amsterdam of the Netherlands, Oslo of Norway, Copenhagen of Denmark, Cologne, Stuttgart of Germany, and Rome of Italy.

In Amsterdam, the demonstrators condemned Iranian regime President Ebrahim Raisi for his direct role in the summer 1988 prison massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, mostly PMOI/MEK members and supporters. The demonstrators are also calling on the U.S. government to deny Raisi a visa as he intends to participate in the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in New York next month, saying he should be arrested and prosecuted for human rights violations and crimes against humanity. These demonstrators also called on the West to end their highly flawed and failed appeasement policy vis-à-vis the mullahs’ regime in Tehran.

In Oslo, the demonstrators, consisting of freedom of loving Iranians and PMOI/MEK supporters, called for the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime by the Iranian people. “Death to Khamenei and damned be Khomeini!” they chanted, in reference to regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his predecessor, Ruhollah Khomeini, also known as the founder of the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

“Death to the mullahs’ regime principle! Hail to Rajavi!”

they also chanted, referring to Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi, and Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). The PMOI/MEK is the cornerstone member of the NCRI coalition.

In Cologne, another group of freedom-loving Iranians and PMOI/MEK supporters held a gathering to both marks the memory of the over 30,000 victims of Iran’s summer 1988 massacre and condemn the mullahs’ regime for their heinous atrocities throughout the past four decades.

In Stuttgart, Germany, those attending the gathering condemned the policies and human rights violations of Ebrahim Raisi in Iran, especially considering the recent spike in the number of executions across Iran.

In Rome, supporters of the PMOI/MEK and the NCRI coalition rallied in commemoration of Iran’s 1988 massacre victims and called for global support for the Iranian people in their ongoing struggle to establish freedom, democracy, and human rights in Iran.

In Copenhagen, Denmark, freedom-loving Iranians condemned the Belgian government’s deal with the Iranian regime that will see the release of Tehran’s convicted diplomat-terrorist Assadollah Assadi.

“Releasing the bomber is an approval of murder and killing sprees,” the demonstrators chanted. They also called for regime change in Iran by the people of Iran, further emphasizing that there is no need for another war in the Middle East and that the West should stop appeasing the mullahs’ regime. Finally, the Iranian expatriates living in Denmark called on the Danish government to expel Iran’s ambassador.
