Iran, Aug. 21, 2018 – Numerous cities across Iran reported a variety of protests on Tuesday as the growing trend continues to concern the mullahs’ regime.
In Rasht, northern Iran, clients of the Caspian credit firm – associated with the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) – protested how their life savings have been stolen by this institute. The protesters were chanting outside the branch office:
“Neither judges nor the government, none think of the people”
Nurses in Tehran, the capital of Iran, held a rally protesting the regime’s Nurse Fund stealing their savings. After placing their savings in this fund, these nurses are not only refused any loans, their savings – ranging from 300 million to 1.6 billion rials (from $7,145 to $38,000, based on the government fixed rate of $/42,000 rials) – have been blocked and authorities refuse to return them.

In Karaj, employees of the Kamali Hospital rallied in the city’s Towhid Square demanding their due paychecks.

Employees of the Ahvaz National Steel Group rallied outside the National Bank branch in this city and protested not receiving their paychecks for the past five months. These protesting employees were seen chanting:
“No nation has witnessed such injustice.”

In Nazar Abad of Alborz Province, municipality employees rallied outside the city municipality building, protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past six months.

In Mahshahr of southwest Iran employees of the Ircast Schauenberg rallied on Tuesday protesting not receiving paychecks for the past four months. This gathering was held outside the city mayor’s office.

Employees of two textile companies rallied outside the city’s mayor office in Qazvin, northwest Iran, demanding their due paychecks.

In the city of Saveh employees of the Pars, Tire Company rallied protesting plans to privatize the company and the regime’s officials taking over the entity. The workers warned officials against any such measures. They were seen chanting:
“Mayor remember this, Pars Tire must not become Hepco,” referring to another privatized company that was literally ruined.
