Analysis by MPOI/MEK
April 28, 2019 – The Young Journalists Club (YJC), a known mouthpiece of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), posted the following on its Farsi website:
“Studies show that Maryam Rajavi has played a large role in brainwashing [U.S. President Donald] Trump against Iran.”
Maryam Rajavi is President of the Iranian opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
To this day, members of the Shah and mullahs’ regimes, along with proxies abroad, such as former Iraqi prime minister Nouri Maliki, would claim the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) are brainwashing their own members. Now the mullahs’ intelligence service has gone to new heights by claiming the U.S. President has been brainwashed!
However, the regime’s main concern is written by the YJC in this line:
“[Mayor Rudy] Giuliani delivered a strong speech in Warsaw, saying the U.S. must overthrow Iran’s government and replace it with Rajavi.”
The YJC also claims the PMOI/MEK had from 2009 to 2015 spent over $330,000 to gain political support from American officials… [U.S. National Security Advisor John] Bolton is probably the most influential figure in close relations with the PMOI/MEK; however, he’s not alone, the piece adds.
The signatories of a letter in 2017 to the U.S. President included names from the Democratic Party. The American signatories in this letter called for a change in policy, regime change in Iran and supporting the Iranian Resistance and the PMOI/MEK.
The mullahs’ regime is resorting to such ridiculous and disgusting comments after the U.S. State Department designated the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” (FTO). Washington has also decided to end all oil sanctions waivers, heading to zero all of Tehran’s oil exports. These blows in such a short span of time, less than a couple of weeks have delivered crippling blows to the mullahs’ regime.
