The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Thursday as 78 deaths and 3228 new cases. Furthermore, 3169 patients are in ICUs and 529 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

“Over 145,000 people in the nursing community contracted coronavirus and nearly all individuals working as nurses have at least once contracted this illness,” said the head of Iran’s Nursing Apparatus Organization on Thursday, according to the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

“Each day the number of confirmed coronavirus patients increases by 65.3 percent and the number of dire patients by 25 percent,” said the deputy dean of Qazvin Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the IRGC Quds Force-affiliated Tasnim news agency.

“During the past 24 hours 102 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized. Currently the total number of hospitalized patients stands at 797, of which 117 are in ICUs,” said the dean of Shiraz Medical Sciences University on Thursday regarding Fars province, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“We currently have 495 patients hospitalized, of which 137 are in ICUs and 32 are under ventilators,” according to a statement released by the West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Thursday.

“Parents concerned about schools not abiding by hygiene protocols are complaining of inadequate equipment and supplies aimed at preventing students from contracting Covid-19,” according to a report wired Thursday by the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“Considering the fact none of the demands raised by the nursing community have been accommodated for, this question comes to mind: what is the source of negligence and inaction?… nowhere in the world are conditions as we see here [in Iran]. That is why hiring nurses is not an important subject for our decisionmakers. Resources are allocated to the medicine branch, and they allow people to get sick and profit from their illness. There is a conflict of interest here,” according to a piece published Thursday in the state-run Resalat daily.
