Over 485,200 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 547 cities checkered across all of Iran’s 31 provinces, according to reports tallied by the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as of Sunday afternoon local time, December 5. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 130,200, around a fourth of the actual figure.

The coronavirus death toll in various provinces include: 113,635 in Tehran, 39,405 in Razavi Khorasan, 33,310 in Isfahan, 18,253 in West Azerbaijan, 18,130 in Fars, 16,875 in Gilan, 16,095 in Lorestan, 14,233 in Alborz, 13,430 in Sistan & Baluchistan, 9049 in Kermanshah, 7967 in Kurdistan, 6163 in North Khorasan, and 4221 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Sunday as 76 deaths and 3109 new cases. Furthermore, 3249 patients are in ICUs and 593 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

“Lack of social distancing and adequate ventilation in classrooms has resulted in the highest number of hygiene complaints during the last week of November,” according to a report wired by the semi-official ISNA news agency on Sunday regarding the mullahs’ criminal policy of prematurely reopening of schools across Iran.

“With 109 coronavirus patients being hospitalized in the past 24 hours the total number of coronavirus patients has reached 839, of which 132 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released on Sunday by the Shiraz Medical Sciences University.

“There are currently 630 coronavirus patients hospitalized, of which 149 are in ICUs and 23 are under ventilators,” said the dean of West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“The intense fluctuations in the Covid-19 death toll in Yazd province continues as we speak. We currently have 392 coronavirus patients hospitalized, of which 95 are in ICUs,” said the spokesperson of Yazd Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence & Security (MOIS).

“Considering the fact that schools have reopened and various activities, along with people going back to work, have all increased, the status quo can be fragile. The spread of coronavirus in the cities of Boyer Ahmad, Kohgiluyeh, and Basht is higher than other areas. The city of Basht has gone from being a blue zone to a yellow zone,” said the governor of Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmad province on Sunday, according to the Mehr news agency.
