On July 28, PMOI Resistance Units launched a massive wave of anti-regime activities, carrying out 60 daring operations against regime centers of repression and corruption across Iran.
These widespread operations directly challenge the regime’s newly installed supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. As the new dictator attempts to project an aura of power, stability, and unity following his rise to power, the Resistance Units have shattered this illusion. The sheer scale of these operations, which spanned major cities including Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Kermanshah, and Zahedan, demonstrates the nationwide reach, capability, and unwavering resolve of the Iranian resistance.

The timing of these 60 operations is highly significant. They serve as a direct and fearless response to the regime’s desperate attempts to terrorize the public and intimidate the Iranian youth from joining the ranks of the Resistance Units. Recently, the regime executed PMOI member Mehdi Khanaki in a calculated move to instill fear.
Furthermore, to suppress the lingering rebellious spirit of the nationwide uprisings from January, the regime has escalated its brutal wave of executions. Just this week, authorities in Isfahan publicly hanged two youths arrested during the January uprising. Yet, rather than succumbing to fear, the Resistance Units have intensified their activities. These operations prove that the regime’s medieval tactic of weaponizing executions has utterly failed to break the will of a generation determined to achieve freedom.

The clerical establishment is working heavily to create a false impression that the Iranian public supports Mojtaba Khamenei and mourns his eliminated predecessor, Ali Khamenei.
The Resistance Units systematically shattered this fabricated narrative by torching the regime’s propaganda. In Shiraz, Yazd, Zahedan, and Saveh, activists set fire to large posters and banners featuring the newly installed supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
Simultaneously, images of the eliminated Ali Khamenei were torched in Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Karaj, Hamedan, Ilam, Neyshabur, Birjand, and Bandar Ganaveh. The Resistance Units also targeted the legacies of other eliminated regime figures, setting fire to monuments and banners of former president Ebrahim Raisi in Ahvaz, Karaj, and Isfahan, as well as banners of former Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani in Ilam and Bushehr.

Beyond symbolic acts of defiance against the regime’s leadership, the Resistance Units actively targeted the institutions that the regime uses to suppress dissidents and spy on citizens. Activists targeted and set fire to the entrances of IRGC Basij bases—facilities specifically tasked with the violent suppression of protesters—in numerous cities, including Damavand, Pardis, Kermanshah, Khomeyni Shahr, Gachsaran, Qaem Shahr, Dezful, Iranshahr, Meshginshahr, and Urmia.
Furthermore, in Kermanshah, Resistance Units set fire to the entrances of regime centers for spreading fundamentalism and terrorism, locations the regime uses to promote its violent ideology and house repressive forces. The regime’s espionage apparatus was also directly challenged, as Resistance Units set fire to billboards promoting the Ministry of Intelligence’s (MOIS) department for spying on citizens in both Kermanshah and Bandar Abbas, alongside attacks on entrances to regime buildings in Khash and Aligudarz.

While the ruling clerics attempt to use the transition of power to project an image of a unified and powerful regime with a firm hold on society, the reality on the ground tells a completely different story.
The 60 daring operations carried out by the Resistance Units echo the true voice and desires of the Iranian people. Despite brutal massacres, public hangings, and a relentless crackdown on dissent, the Iranian populace rejects the newly installed dictator just as vehemently as his predecessor. The escalating actions of the Resistance Units prove that the Iranian people’s drive for absolute regime change remains unstoppable.
