Iran, Feb. 27, 2019 - Members of Resistance Units, a growing network associated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are escalating their measures targeting the mullahs’ crackdown apparatus in cities across the country.
Members of Resistance Unit 180 in Golpaygan, southwest Iran, set a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary base on fire while chanting, “We answer fire with fire – Death to Khamenei (referring to Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei) – Hail to Rajavi.” The last part of their slogans was a referral to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Tehran, members of a resistance unit also set fire to another IRGC Basij paramilitary base while chanting “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
Members of Resistance Unit 760 in Amol, northern Iran, set fire to an IRGC Basij paramilitary base. Footage shows a burned sign of Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini.
In Iranshahr, southeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 286 set fire to a regime poster containing images of Khomeini and Khamenei.
Members of Resistance Unit 150 in Abadan, southwest Iran, set fire to an IRGC Basij paramilitary base while citing Maryam Rajavi saying the corrupt mullahs’ ruling Iran will be toppled through the women’s uprising across the country.
In West Azerbaijan Province, northwest Iran, members of a resistance unit set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei banner while chanting “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
Members of Resistance Unit 950 in Baluchistan, southeast Iran, set fire to another Khomeini/Khamenei poster while chanting similar slogans.
In Khorramabad, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 716 set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei banner while also chanting “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
