Iran, March 20, 2019 – Various reports from cities checkered across Iran indicate a massive welcoming to a statement issued by the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) for more protests marking the annual Fire Festival. Iranians celebrated this national holiday on Tuesday evening, despite warnings issued by regime officials to refrain from doing so and ridiculous describing this tradition as a sin.
In Shiraz, south-central Iran, members of a resistance unit destroyed a sign near the Khomeini air base.
Members of resistance units in Tehran and Karaj, both in northern Iran, set fire to posters of the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, resistance unit members placed images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and Khamenei to large trash canisters with writings indicating this is where they belong.
It is worth noting that if arrested these individuals would face torture and even execution. The mullahs’ regime consider any support for the PMOI/MEK as punishable by death.
Members of Resistance Unit 201 in Karaj put up an image reading, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” in reference to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Khoy, northwest Iran, a resistance unit member put a sign reading, “Death to the mullahs’ principle – Viva the National Liberation Army of Iran.”
In Tehran, resistance unit members also took to graffiti writing the same slogan.
Also in the country’s capital, members of Resistance Unit 421 in Tehran took to graffiti to write, “We answer fire with fire.” Another resistance unit in Tehran wrote “Death to Khamenei” in graffiti.
In Urmia, northwest Iran, members of resistance units took to graffiti to write, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
Members of other resistance units in the cities of Zanjan, Shiraz, Shahr-e Kord, and Tehran also wrote similar slogans in graffiti, spreading their messages in numerous parts of these large cities.
Another resistance unit had its members put up signs reading, “We answer fire with fire – Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi – We are turning the last week of the (Iranian calendar) year into a week of protests against the regime.”

In Shiraz, members of Resistance Unit 444 set fire to images of Khomeini, Khamenei, and regime President Hassan Rouhani while chanting, “Death to Khamenei & Rouhani – Damn Khomeini – Hail to Rajavi.”
