Iran, March 8, 2020—Sources associated to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) have reported more than 2,000 coronavirus deaths across the country. The situation has become so dire that the mullahs’ regime had even canceled Friday prayers in all provincial capitals this week because of the coronavirus outbreak. On Friday, March 6, 2020, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent a video message on Friday, urging the Iranian people to rise up against the Iranian regime’s inaction and cover-up of the coronavirus outbreak in Iran.
The Iranian regime’s inaction and its criminal cover-up of this disease has expedited the spread of the COVID-19 to over 74 Iranian cities and all provinces, and has turned Iran into the epicenter of this deadly virus.
While the regime’s crimes, inaction and secrecy on the coronavirus outbreak continue, Iranian Resistance Units, a network of MEK activists inside Iran, and rebellious youth of Iran have taken to activities that reflect the outrage of the Iranian people and their desire to overthrow the rule of the mullahs and live in freedom.
MEK Resistance Units in Isfahan installed a banner of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi which read: “Mullahs’ virus is decimating Iran’s youth” and Khamenei the sinister mullah, you are the real virus.
In Tehran and Kermanshah, the rebellious youth burned an IRGC Basij sign. Basij, a subsidiary of the terrorist-designated Revolutionary Guards, is the Iranian regime’s paramilitary forces and the most hated suppressive group that is used to crackdown protests and demonstrations such as the November nationwide uprising where 1,500 innocent protesters were shot dead in just two days.
The rebellious youth of Tehran burned a poster of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) commander Qasem Soleimani who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in January.

In Ilam members of the MEK Resistance Units wrote slogans on the wall: “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime and mullahs.”
In Rafsanjan Resistance Units wrote on the wall: “Maryam Rajavi: Share your information about coronavirus outbreak in Iran with public opinion and save people’s lives” and “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime and mullahs.”
Similar activities carried out in Shahr-e Rey and Isfahan. In Isfahan MEK Resistance Units installed handwritten slogans in the streets: “Massoud Rajavi: Mullahs’ virus is decimating Iran’s youth”, “Khamenei the sinister mullah, you are the real virus” and “Maryam Rajavi: Coronavirus outbreak and people’s deaths are due to the regime covering up the spread of the virus.”
In Mashhad, Shiraz, Eghlid Fars, Karaj, Abadan and Ahwaz the MEK Resistance Units carried out similar activities.
In Jahrom, MEK Resistance Units installed big banners of the Iranian resistance leaders Maryam and Massoud Rajavi saying: “The Iranian people are committed to overthrowing this regime.”
In Shiraz, Kermanshah, Karaj, Isfahan, Abadan and Ilam, Resistance Units wrote slogans on the walls: “Down with the dictator”, “Down with the dictatorship of mullahs”, “Down with Khamenei” and “Down with Khamenei, Viva Rajavi”.
On Thursday March 5 MEK Resistance Units continued their activities in various cities and installed big banners and posters of the Iranian Resistance Leaders Maryam and Massoud Rajavi.
In Isfahan, resistance units installed banners of Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi which read: “The regime is repeating the experience of the Ukrainian airliner by covering up the coronavirus crisis”
In plenty of other cities, the resistance units installed posters that called for the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime.
On Wednesday March 4, 2020 the rebellious youth burned banners of the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei and Qassem Soleimani in Zahedan.

In Behbahan MEK Resistance Units installed a poster of Maryam and Massoud Rajavi that read: “The regime’s inaction on the coronavirus is disastrous, and the answer is in its overthrow.”
Also in Behbahan, the resistance units spread the message of Maryam Rajavi, which called on the people of Iran to share their information about the coronavirus outbreak in Iran with public opinion and save people’s lives.
The resistance units also wrote slogans on the walls in Tehran, Karaj and Shiraz: “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime and mullahs” and “Khamenei, you are the real virus”.
The Resistance Units carried out similar activities in various areas of Isfahan such as Ali Ghapo, Masjed (Mosque) Sheikh Lotfollah, Park Melat (National Park) and Pol (Bridge) Khajou but also in Yazd, Rasht (Emam Reza street), Lahijan, Neyshabour and Babol writing slogans on the walls: “We don’t have masks and sanitizing gel, instead we have the turban (mullahs)!”, “The Iranian regime has imposed the coronavirus on the nation”, “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime and mullahs” and “Mullahs are the factor of coronavirus crisis”.
