Iran, May 22, 2020—The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) network of Resistance Units continued their activities across the country throughout the week as the coronavirus outbreak, exacerbated by the criminal policies of the mullahs, continues to take its toll on the country.
Despite increased oppressive measures by the regime and an intensifying coronavirus crisis, and while over 43,300 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 319 cities, the Resistance Units spread a message of hope to the oppressed people of Iran.
The mullahs try to use the crisis as a tool against the collapse of their regime at the price of many human lives. Even the regime’s Deputy Health Minister acknowledged on Thursday that around 10,000 members of the country’s medical personnel have contracted COVID-19, which clearly indicates that the regime’s official numbers of coronavirus deaths and cases are completely engineered and nothing but lies.
The Resistance Units’ activities across the country convey the message: “Iran and Iranians will never give in; they will never surrender, be defeated or forced into submission.”
In previous days, members of the Iranian Resistance Units in cities such as Tehran, Ahvaz, Qom, Karaj, Andimeshk, Hamadan, Gorgan, Masjed Soleiman, Sonqor and Nowshahr. took to graffiti in public places writing messages of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and NCRI President Maryam Rajavi.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the defiant and rebellious youths torched two of the Iranian regime’s centers for spreading fundamentalism and Sharia Law in Tehran and Sonqor.

On Thursday, members of the Resistance Units in Tehran and supporters of the MEK installed handwritten slogans on the walls that read “Down with Khamenei, Viva Rajavi” and “Resistance Units and rebellious youth herald hope for freedom.”

Similar activities were carried out on Wednesday in Tehran, Nowshahr and Ahvaz while one of the handwritten slogans installed on the wall read: “The only way to rescue Iran is to rise up and overthrow the criminal Mullahs’ regime.”
On Tuesday, two IRGC Basij bases in Qom and Karaj plus images of regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Hamadan were torched by the brave and defiant young generation.

Also on Monday and Tuesday, in Tehran, Ahwaz, Masjed Soleiman, Gorgan and Andimeshk, members of the Resistance Units and the supporters of the MEK spread and installed handwritten banners and slogans on the walls echoing the Iranian Resistance leaders’ messages. Their banners read: “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime and mullahs” and “Democracy with Maryam Rajavi”.
In Tehran and Ahwaz, two banners and posters of Maryam Rajavi were installed that read: “The tyrannical rule of the mullahs’ regime must be overthrown” and “The mullahs do not want Iran, and Iran and all Iranians do not want the mullahs. The mullahs sow the seeds of hopelessness and passivity. We must rebel against it.”
