Iran, July 8, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and supporters of this organization, are increasing their anti-regime activities in numerous cities and provinces throughout Iran. These measures are specifically targeting the regime’s assets and providing hope for the Iranian people that the overthrow of the mullahs’ rule is possible and within reach.
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 756 set fire to a sign at the entrance of a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij base.
Resistance Unit 803 in the country’s capital also set fire to the entrance of another IRGC Basij base.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, the “Beheshti” center, associated with the IRGC Basij, was targeted and set ablaze by members of Resistance Unit 491.
Members of Resistance Unit 421 also in Karaj set fire to the entrance of another IRGC Basij base.
In Zanjan, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 721 set fire to a sign at the entrance of the regime’s “Rajaie” center, expressing their hatred regarding the mullahs’ entire apparatus.
In Isfahan, a major city in central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 569 set fire to a sign at the entrance of the IRGC Basij base.
In Kerman, south-central Iran, members of Resistance Unit 214 set fire to a large poster of Iranian regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the Imam Ali Boulevard.
Members of Resistance Unit 673 set fire to a regime poster in Kermanshah, western Iran, sending this message that no regime site is out of their reach.
Members of Resistance Unit 927 also in Kermanshah set fire to a large poster of Khamenei.
In Lorestan Province, also in western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 666 set fire to a poster outside an IRGC Basij site.
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 402 set fire to the entrance of an IRGC Basij base.
Members of Resistance Unit 392 in west Azerbaijan set fire to a large Khamenei poster, sending this message that these brave souls will never lose a chance to target regime-associated sites and express their utter hatred towards the ruling mullahs.
