Iran: Opposition network targeting regime icons

Reported by PMOI/MEK

Iran, Feb. 4, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are waging new measures in cities across the country and courageously targeting regime icons and bases. It is worth noting that the mullahs’ regime, terrified of further protests and a new uprising, is on high alert. However, their security forces lack the ability to confront the Resistance Units’ brave spirits. These individuals are continuing their measures in cities throughout Iran on a daily basis.

Members of Resistance Unit 456 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, set fire to a base belonging to the oppressive Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij forces using several Molotov cocktails.

In Babolsar, northern Iran, members of Resistance Unit 466 set fire to a poster containing an image of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Members of Resistance Unit 750 in Iranshahr, southeast Iran, set fire to poster of regime founder Khomeini while chanting “Death to Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). This poster was located near a Basij base.

In Tehran, the country’s capital, members of Resistance Unit 765 set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster belonging to the notorious Intelligence Ministry while chanting, “Shah, sultan, velayat (mullahs) – Your death is near; We answer fire with fire.”

Members of a resistance unit in Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, set fire to a Khomeini poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
