While the mullahs’ criminal and plundering policies has led to coronavirus taking more lives with each passing day, regime President Hassan Rouhani resorted to more preposterous remarks on Thursday. One of the prides of the “revolution is in the people’s health. Nobody can deny this reality. All these hospitals, all these hospital beds, equipment, physicians and nurses, all these testing devices across the country,” he said.

“The novel coronavirus has spread across the country’s southern provinces. We have 22 red cities, 175 orange, 251 yellow and no blue cities,” the regime’s Health Ministry announced on Thursday.

“The provinces of Fars and Hormozgan, and to some extent Bushehr and Sistan & Baluchistan, have become concerning epicenters of the fifth peak with the Indian variant,” according to a Thursday report wired by the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“During the fourth peak we were faced with a very diligent UK variant, that in comparison to the third peak, resulted in a 43 percent increase in the number of people hospitalized for coronavirus and 48 percent increase in the number of people seeking initial medical care for Covid-19 symptoms,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Thursday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“During the past few days, we have had 1000 new cases registered, and this has been repeated on a daily basis. We have had a 25 percent increase in deaths in comparison to June 2020,” said the dean of Hormozgan Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“Each day we have 400 new coronavirus cases in Bushehr province while up to three weeks ago these numbers stood at around 250. The number of people being hospitalized each day has increased to 250 to 350,” said the dean of Bushehr Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“The total number of coronavirus patients hospitalized across Qazvin province stands at 243. This indicates a five percent increase in comparison to the day before,” said the dean of Qazvin Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the Tasnim news agency.

“During the past few days, the stats have been rising and today the number of new cases and those being hospitalized have increased in comparison to the past. We have 355 coronavirus patients hospitalized across the province,” said the deputy dean of Lorestan Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the Tasnim news agency.
