In today’s meeting of the National Covid-19 Task Force, regime President Hassan Rouhani resorted to more ridiculous lies to cloak the mullahs’ criminal and plundering policies on the coronavirus vaccine. “It appears this illness will not end any time soon and the only certain solution to disrupt the virus cycle and decrease the number of new cases is to fully abide by health protocols… Considering the concerns of our experts regarding the vaccines’ full effectiveness on future variants, we cannot be certain about vaccination. Therefore, still the only effective solution to confront this illness across the globe is abiding by health protocols and avoiding unnecessary gatherings,” he said on Thursday.

“Tehran’s coronavirus numbers are on the rise. During the past 24 hours we had a new record in the number of new patients hospitalized with 1820 new patients being hospitalized across Tehran, of which 202 were sent directly to ICUs,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Thursday. “All hospitalized cases in the 105 hospitals of this province add up to 8230 patients hospitalized, of which 2010 are in ICUs. Considering the fact that in the past 24 hours 1230 patients have been released, the number of new patients is more than those released, indicating how our hospitals are packed. This means we are still on the rise and have yet to reach the peak. Forecasts indicate this trend will continue until mid-next week. Regarding the number of people seeking medical care for Covid-19 symptoms, we are still standing at 15,800 patients. If we also take the private sector into consideration the numbers will be even higher. Until we see these figures begin to decrease, we will witness other stats continuing to rise,” he added, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
