The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers on Thursday as 94 deaths, being the highest such figure in the past 32 days, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“We’ve had a one-day old infant die of Covid-19. This illness has many varieties, meaning we still have many cases that may be UK strain without any symptoms or weak symptoms. We also have cases that are far more severe and have symptoms,” said an official of the regime’s National Covid-19 Task Force on Wednesday, according to state TV.

“The number of new cases in Tehran have its ups and downs. During the past 24 hours we have had 7411 new cases, indicating a 12.1 increase in comparison to last week,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force. Furthermore, during the past 24 hours, we have had 382 new patients. This is a 10.1 percent increase in comparison to last week. We also have 110 ICU patients, indicating a nine percent increase in comparison to last week,” he added, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“We had a 20 percent increase in the number of hospitalized patients in the past week and we are forecasting that these numbers will increase in the coming days,” said the head of Tehran’s Hazrat-e Rasoul Hospital on Wednesday, according to state TV.

Following an increase in the number of mutated Covid-19 cases in Ahvaz, these patients are seen being transferred from one hospital to another with hospital ambulances, according to a Thursday report in the state-run Are Iran daily.

“There is no solution other than closing down and fully quarantining the entire province of Khuzestan. We are awaiting related decisions in this regard,” said the dean of Abadan Medical Sciences University on Wednesday. “Scientifically, we are suggesting a full quarantine in Khuzestan province to prevent a further transfer of this illness outside of the province. This quarantine can be supportive in preventing the further spread of Covid-19 across the country,” this official added, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“With the increasing trend around 18 people are contracting coronavirus each hour. 138 patients are in ICUs,” said the dean of West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“Two days ago, a case of the mutated UK strain was found in Mashhad Medical University. Three individuals who had no contact with that individual or any foreign trips have also contracted the mutated strain,” said the deputy dean of Mashhad Medical University on Wednesday. “This indicates that this virus is spreading across the province and the country, and currently it has engulfed the city of Mashhad,” the official added, according to state TV.

“The mutated UK strain has sounded the alarm bell. To this day seven confirmed cases of the UK strain have been confirmed in Isfahan and one of the patients is in dire condition,” said the dean of Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to the Mehr news agency.
