Warmongering can’t save Iran’s regime from the people’s anger

The main objective of the Iranian regime’s warmongering in the Middle East has been to suppress and contain the uprising and anger of the Iranian people. To this day, the war in Gaza has resulted in over 20,000 victims. And the root cause of all the wars and crises that have engulfed the Middle East for over 40 years, drowning its people in fire and blood, has been within the ideology of the mullahs’ regime in Iran.

Nearly three months after the catastrophic war, now even the voices of regime sources have emerged, acknowledging that the smoke and flames of warmongering are unable to eliminate the danger of foundational uprisings and warning the regime about the escalating explosive situation in Iran’s society.

On, December 21, the state-run Ham-Mihan newspaper acknowledged the widespread anger of millions of people in Iran who have been disillusioned with the theatrical display of rigged elections for years. The newspaper wrote, “After a significant portion of the people became dissatisfied and concluded that elections are useless, they used other opportunities. In 2017, due to protests by those who had lost their properties under this regime, an opportunity emerged for the people of Iran to gather for 10 nights in 100 cities. In 2019, the sudden increase in fuel prices provided an opportunity for dissatisfied residents of suburban areas in major cities to protest. In 2021, water shortages in Khuzestan and Isfahan created this opportunity. In 2022, the tragic death of Mahsa Amini prepared the ground for people to express their dissatisfaction.”

This media outlet, continuing with the acknowledgment that the fire of uprising has not been extinguished or forgotten, stated, “The story of the dissatisfied does not end. Once again, people are seeking opportunities to express their dissatisfaction.”

It added, “After the protests following Mahsa’s death and increased security controls, dissatisfied people are still looking for opportunities to voice their discontent.

While Ham-Mihan refers to the warmongering regime as the “Power Bloc,” it also adds, “The Power Bloc says we have dissatisfied people, but instead of that, we have an extensive ‘Resistance Network’ in the region. However, if the Iranian resistance network in the region is not accompanied by effective diplomacy (better than Qatar), other powers such as China, Arab countries, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar might devour the bread of this network. Moreover, if Iran fails to strengthen its crucial power base, which is its economy, meaning it cannot reduce economic dissatisfaction through effective programs (which currently do not offer a positive outlook on Iran’s economic situation), even the resistance network will not give the Power Bloc the deterrence power it needs.”

On November 27, the state-run Jomhouri newspaper, expressed concern about the explosive conditions within society and the explosion of the anger of the hungry, stating: “Why do you want to burden the people with heavy taxes and impose pressure on them to meet the required budget? Be certain that if you proceed with this order, you will not only lose power but also the people.”
