This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.

The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Saturday as 33 deaths and 1002 new cases. Furthermore, 2676 patients are in ICUs and 222 of the new cases have been hospitalized.

“We should not at all be deceived by the published stats because without a doubt the number of omicron cases in Iran is not what is being announced. These stats are not correct, and it is highly likely that there are more cases. There is not doubt the true number of cases is far higher than what is being published,” said a member of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Saturday, according to the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“Iran is not separate from the world. Naturally, omicron exists in Iran and the number of cases is rising. We hope to be able to prevent an explosive spread of this variant across the country,” said another member of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Saturday, according to the Tasnim news agency.

“This week the number of new cases doubled in the city of Ashtian, while witnessing significant increases in the cities of Tafresh, Doleijan, Saveh, Zarandiyeh, and Shandiz. The alarm bell has sounded. If we are caught off guard we will be in a deep crisis,” said the deputy governor of Markazi (Central) province on Saturday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“Conditions in Khuzestan are fragile. Omicron has most certainly entered this province,” said the caretaker of Ahvaz Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“The spread of coronavirus in Ardabil continues as we speak. Covid-19 is fragile in Ardabil. In the coming days we will witness a rise in the number of coronavirus deaths,” said the dean of Ardabil Medical Sciences University on Saturday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“With 85 new patients in the past 24 hours, we currently have 568 patients hospitalized, of which 79 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released by the Shiraz Medical Sciences University regarding Fars province.
