Iran, March 13, 2021—The internal network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) continued its anti-regime campaign checkered across the country, calling for the overthrowing of the mullahs’ regime.
The MEK’s internal network, known as the Resistance Units, organized various activities in support of the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.
The Resistance Units organized their anti-regime campaign in cities such as Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Nishabur, Behshahr, Shahre Kord, Rasht, Sanandaj, Bushehr, Gilan, Sistan and Baluchistan, and Faroj.
The Resistance Units took to graffiti in different cities spreading slogans such as “Rebels make victory,” “We will defeat the coronavirus caused by the mullahs and take back Iran,” and “Mullahs’ regime will be overthrown by the Resistance Units.”
In Tehran, Nishabur, Behshahr, the Resistance Units, installed posters and images of the Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) Maryam Rajavi, with the slogans that read, “The mullahs must get lost,” “We can, and we must overthrow the mullahs’ regime,” and “Hail to Rajavi.”
They also organized various activities in support of the protests of poor people of Saravan in Sistan and Baluchistan province that erupted following the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) opened fire and killed fuel porters near the Iran-Pakistan border.
A video message from Sistan and Baluchistan hailed the MEK’s efforts and struggle to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
The video message said: “Hail to the great nation of Iran and 1,500 martyrs of the November 2019 uprising and those who fight for the freedom of Iran. I will continue the path of those brave martyrs who were gunned down by the criminal Khamenei’s IRGC. The blood of all martyrs of freedom is an inspiration for the young Baluchs. The martyrs were killed by the IRGC just because they wanted to put food on the table of their families. They are the pride and honor of Baluchestan and all Iranians. I say to all the regime’s corrupt criminals, since you will not stop looting and killing innocent people and have proven that you are the enemy of Iran, we will fight you till the end. We will answer fire with fire to Khamenei and all his mercenaries. We will avenge the death of these innocent youths. We will overthrow you and take back our country.”
The Resistance Units are an organized network of brave men and women
Supporters of the MEK who are dedicated to the cause of freedom and democracy in Iran. They risk their lives every day to spread the message of the Resistance and campaign to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
The Resistance Units had a major impact on the uprisings of last year. Many regime officials, including Ali Khamenei, have acknowledged MEK’s growth and expansion of activities inside Iran in the past two years. The MEK’s internal network has been the driving force of protests and they played a leading role in the uprisings of January 2018, November 2019, and January 2020.
On March 2, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry warned of the growing influence of the MEK in the society that quickly turned any protest into anti-regime demonstrations. Previously, regime Intelligence Chief Mahmoud Alavi acknowledged that the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) is behind a long list of TV series and films created to defame the MEK.
