Iran, May 08, 2020—As a result of Iranian regime officials ordering people to return to work, the number of coronavirus cases across the country has increased significantly. On Thursday, May 6, the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) reported that over 39,800 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 314 cities checkered across all of Iran’s 31 provinces, according to its internal network.
“There are people who are infected, and no one is informed. They themselves aren’t informed. No hospital is informed. No statistics center is informed. So, we have to agree that the number of cases in all countries across the world can be more than their official numbers… the same with the number of deaths… When an individual has a previous illness, should that be declared as the cause of death or COVID-19… We can count both ways and countries around the world have counted in both methods,” said regime president Hassan Rouhani in a meeting with Health Ministry officials on Monday where he justified the mullahs’ engineering of the country’s coronavirus figures.
Earlier Rouhani confessed to an upcoming disaster and said “We have to look at the situation with pessimism. We must be prepared for difficult and dangerous situations.” And time after time Rouhani, showed his frustration about the revelations of the MEK on his regime’s cover-up of the COVID-19 death toll and said “When we say our situation is better than Europe regarding coronavirus, you can’t imagine what an atmosphere the satellite TV channels create!”
Of course, the role of the Mojahedin is not limited to revealing the regime’s lies. The MEK has shown a way to get rid of the problem that has plagued the Iranian people for 40 years. The Iranian resistance believes that if the regime uses coronavirus as a tool to maintain its rule, the single solution for coronavirus, for poverty, for oppression and tyranny, is to overthrow the mullahs’ religious dictatorship in its entirety.
Therefore, members of the Iranian Resistance Units a network of MEK activists across Iran, have been organizing various activities highlighting the very same solution for Iran. The Resistance Units members are selfless, determined, and spirited women and men who have risen up against the ruling monsters who embody repression, poverty and illness. They offer a breakthrough and are a beacon for uprising and freedom, and for the rebellious and defiant generation. They believe that the Iranian people’s fight against Coronavirus is part of their fateful resistance against Khamenei and the inhuman clerical regime and their mission is freedom and popular sovereignty. The MEK is expanding its organized network despite massive repression and arrests and multiplies rapidly, by carrying out hundreds of activities and operations against repressive institutes and spearheading the uprisings.
On Wednesday May 6, and Tuesday May 5, the brave and defiant youth in Isfahan, Tehran, Gorgan and Karaj, torched images of regime officials such as Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by an U.S drone attack on January and IRGC Bassij bases. The Basij, a subsidiary of the terrorist designated IRGC, is a force detested by the Iranian people for its role in cracking down on protests and demonstrations such as the November nationwide uprising.

Also, on Tuesday and Wednesday members of the Resistance Units in Tehran, Hamedan, Urmia, Qazvin, Arak and Karaj took to graffiti in public places writing messages of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and NCRI President Maryam Rajavi and distributed the slogan “Down with Khamenei, we will overthrow you.”
On Sunday May 3 the brave young generation of Iran torched two IRGC bases in Shariar and Shiraz.

On the same day, the members of the Resistance Units and MEK supporters in Shiraz, Tehran, Behbahan, Nishapur, Karaj and Chaboksar installed handwritten slogans on the walls that read “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime & mullahs” and the Iranian people shall overcome the coronavirus and the Supreme Leader.”
