Iran, January 15, 2020—Images of Qassem Soleimani, the criminal whose hands are drenched in the blood of the people in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and beyond, and has been dubbed as “child-killer,” are being burned on a daily basis across Iran by brave youths, supporters of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and “Resistance Units.”
These measures are sending a crystal-clear message to the mullahs’ regime – already engulfed with domestic and global crises – that the Iranian people utterly loathe their entire apparatus and are determined to overthrow their establishment to realize a new and free Iran.
MEK Resistance Units attack security forces base and set fire to banners of Qasem Soleimani
In Behbahan, southwest Iran, courageous youth attacked a site of the regime’s oppressive forces with what appears to be a firebomb or powerful sound grenade. This is a major security breach for the regime, striking fear in all of their forces across the country regarding their vulnerability.
In Tehran, members of resistance units set fire to an image of Qassem Soleimani, describing him as the criminal of the century.
Protesting youths killed by regime’s security forces
In Eslamshahr, southwest of Tehran, a large propaganda poster of Qassem Soleimani was set ablaze. This city witnessed massive protests during the November uprising as locals torched numerous banks and other institutes associated to the mullahs’ regime. The regime’s security forces opened fire and killed many of the protesting youths in this city during the November uprising.
Ordinary Iranians are learning and encouraged from these measures, and are courageously tearing down images of Qassem Soleimani.

In Sabzevar, northeast Iran, courageous youth set fire to a large poster of the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini.
In Shahr-e Kord, central Iran, a poster of Qassem Soleimani was set ablaze and he was yet again described as a “child-killer.”
In Gachsaran, youth torched an image of Qassem Soleimani and were heard chanting this and other regime criminals known to literally butcher innocent civilians.
In Marivan, western Iran, a poster of Qassem Soleimani on a busy street was set ablaze by a team of two individuals.

Resistance units members and MEK supporters have for over a week been targeting images of Qassem Soleimani to prove once again that the Iranian people loathe this mass murderer.
It is worth noting that any support for the PMOI inside Iran is considered punishable by death by the mullahs’ judiciary. Back in June 2014, Gholamreza Khosravi, a MEK supporter, was arrested and executed merely for sending a small financial donation to a satellite TV network affiliated to the PMOI/MEK. “Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani was arrested in 2008 in Rafsanjan, Kerman Province, in connection with his alleged support of the pro-PMOI (People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran) TV station Sima-ye Azadi (Voice of Freedom),” according to Amnesty International.
