Iran, June 13, 2020—The Security and Anti-Terrorism Commission of the National Council or Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of opposition groups seeking democratic regime change in Iran, has obtained and published names, descriptions and transfer documents of 60 individuals injured during the November 2019 nationwide uprising. These individuals were transferred to hospitals in Tehran, according to the obtained documents.
Among the 60 injured protesters transferred to various hospitals, there are six female protesters, two of whom were injured by pellet gunfire used by the regime’s forces. Five young men were registered as “unidentified,” possibly due to the severity of their injuries.
This new revelation sheds more light into the horrific massacre and crackdown launched by the mullahs’ regime and their forces in response to the Iranian people’s uprising. While sparked by a gas price hike imposed by the mullahs’ regime, the protests quickly evolved into an all-out uprising aimed at overthrow the ruling dictatorship. At least 1,500 men, women and children were killed by the regime’s forces who resorted to opening direct fire on protesters, killing many even at point-blank range. Over 8,000 protesters were injured and at least 12,000 were apprehended by the regime’s security forces.
