People of Iran voice their hatred of the regime as they recall atrocities

The people of Iran are continuing their anti-regime protests at every opportunity, including events held to mark their losses at the hands of the mullahs’ atrocities. The people of Abadan in southwest Iran held a large rally on Tuesday one year after the Metropol building catastrophe that saw a ten-story structure collapse, leaving dozens killed and injured. Students in various universities also held gatherings condemning the regime’s recent surge in executions and the strict rules and regulations imposed on campus, especially targeting female students.

As the country’s nationwide uprising marks its 251st day on Wednesday, people throughout Iran continue to specifically hold the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei responsible for their miseries, while also condemning the oppressive the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and paramilitary Basij units, alongside other security units that are on the ground suppressing the peaceful demonstrators.

Protests in Iran have to this day expanded to at least 282 cities. Over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 are arrested by the regime’s forces, according to sources of Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The names of 675 killed protesters have been published by the PMOI/MEK.

Families of death row inmates rallied outside the regime’s main judiciary building in Tehran on Wednesday demanding officials halt the execution process of their loved ones. Authorities dispatched units to attack the crowd and arrested several of the family members.

Retirees and pensioners of the regime’s Social Security Organization from the cities of Shush and Ahvaz, the latter being the provincial capital of Khuzestan, southwest Iran, are  rallying and holding a gathering on Wednesday demanding their rights while protesting their low pensions.

Pensioners and retirees are among the worst-hit segments of Iran’s society. They depend on government stipends to make ends meet, but the regime has refused to increase their pensions in correspondence with growing inflation and the depreciation of the national currency.

The government has long provided many hollow promises of increasing pensions. It was also supposed to settle unpaid pensions remaining from previous years. So far, it has yet to deliver on both demands.

Interestingly, the regime’s own media reported that The Social Security Investment Company (SHASTA), the financial institution that is supposed to fund retirees, has seen a significant increase in its profits in the past years. However, these profits have yet to materialize in the lives of pensioners and retirees.

Labor activists are reporting that on Wednesday truck drivers in the city of Isfahan, central Iran, are continuing their strike for the third consecutive day. There is a growing momentum in the truckers’ nationwide strike in Iran with reports from more cities.
Truck drivers in the city of Bandar Khomeini in southwest Iran have joined the truckers’ nationwide strike and are continuing this initiative for the third consecutive day.

In other reports from Rostam (Momaseni) in Fars Province, south-central Iran, five years after a local sugar cube factory was shut down, the workers of this site are continuing to demand their unpaid salaries.

Landowners in the country’s capital Tehran held a gathering on Wednesday protesting the refusal by regime authorities to allow them to launch construction projects on their real estate.

100 days after the earthquake in Khoy, northwest Iran, most of the locals don’t have any money or adequate shelter. That is why many cannot afford to live in a house and are forced to remain in tents.

Locals in the city of Malayer of Hamadan Province in western Iran, and Karaj, located west of Tehran, including residents of the city’s Navvab district, were chanting anti-regime slogans on Tuesday night, including:

“Down with Khamenei!”
“Down with the dictator!”
“My life for Iran!”

On Tuesday, investors of the Cryptoland online exchange held a rally in Tehran demanding the IRGC to return their stolen money returned. Over 25,000 families have been wronged and robbed by the IRGC.

The users of Cryptoland have been holding protests for two years, but authorities are refraining from acting on their demands. Cryptoland had around 289,000 users, who have lost hundreds of millions worth of their savings in the online marketplace.

Locals in the city of Abadan in southwest Iran gathered on Tuesday to mark the one-year anniversary of the Metropol building’s collapse due to the regime’s corruption. Authorities sought to prevent the gathering by blocking the roads.

Tehran University students held a gathering on Tuesday protesting the regime’s strict on-campus rules and regulations, especially targeting female students about their attire. “I will attack those who attacked our sisters!” they chanted.

Sharif University students in the country’s capital Tehran also held a gathering on Tuesday protesting the regime’s execution of three protesters last Friday.

The protests in Iran began following the death of Mahsa Amini. Mahsa (Zhina) Amini, a 22-year-old woman from the city of Saqqez in Kurdistan Province, western Iran, who traveled to Tehran with her family, was arrested on Tuesday, September 13, at the entry of Haqqani Highway by the regime’s so-called “Guidance Patrol” and transferred to the “Moral Security” agency.

She was brutally beaten by the morality police and died of her wounds in a Tehran hospital on September 16. The event triggered protests that quickly spread across Iran and rekindled the people’s desire to overthrow the regime.
