On the 40th day commemorating the tragic explosion in Bandar Abbas, PMOI Resistance Units launched a series of bold activities across various Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran, Bandar Abbas, Shiraz, Kerman, Hamedan, Gorgan, Semnan, Takab, and others. Operating under intense security surveillance and in a climate of repression, these units distributed placards, handwritten notes, and posters featuring messages from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), to honor the victims and challenge the regime.

The Bandar Abbas Disaster: A Crime of IRGC Negligence
The disaster was caused by a massive explosion at the port, which resulted from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recklessly storing missile fuel in standard shipping containers near populated areas. This criminal negligence led to the death of at least 100 people, including workers and innocent civilians, once again exposing the regime’s profound disregard for human life in pursuit of its military objectives.
Despite the oppressive atmosphere, the Resistance Units succeeded in making their voices heard and honoring the victims through targeted activities in several cities:

- In Tehran, a large poster featuring a picture of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi was displayed with her quote: “The life of a worker, from the mine to the port, has no value to the regime.”
- In Bandar Abbas, the epicenter of the tragedy, placards carried powerful slogans such as: “Storing missile fuel next to an unaware populace is a crime against humanity,” “Death to the IRGC, the main culprit of the Bandar Abbas disaster,” and “In memory of the Bandar Abbas victims, down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Mullahs.”
- In Shiraz, slogans echoed the same national message, rejecting all forms of dictatorship with the chant: “In memory of the Bandar Abbas victims, down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Mullahs.”
- In Kerman, the responsibility of the regime’s leadership was highlighted with the slogan: “The people of Iran will neither forget nor forgive Khamenei’s crime against humanity in Bandar Abbas.”
These activities, carried out in sensitive and public locations, underscore the courage of the units’ members and their determination to confront the regime’s security apparatus.

These courageous activities confirm that the regime’s policy of repression and intimidation has failed to silence the voice of the people. They are living proof that the struggle continues. As long as this corrupt and reckless regime remains in power, such disasters resulting from its negligence will persist, and with them, the struggle of the Iranian people and their Resistance Units will continue until freedom is achieved and a democratic republic is established, one that values human life above all else.
