Iran’s rebellious youth respond to the destruction of homes in Baluchestan

On November 22, the Iranian regime’s repressive state security forces attacked and destroyed the homes of the impoverished people of Moradabad district in Chabahar, southeast Iran. The destruction of homes and confiscation of land persisted from October 31 to the midnight of Friday, November 22, 2024.

This is while the regime’s president Masoud Pezeshkian has recently visited Sistan and Baluchestan and promised the people that the government will work to improve their living conditions and build homes for the needy.

The regime’s actions against the people of the region has sparked outrage across the country. In response to these repressive actions, Iran’s rebellious youth targeted the regime’s centers and symbols of repression in different cities, including Zahedan, Karaj, Mashhad, Dezful, Neyshabur, and Tehran:

  • An arson attack at the office of the regime’s repressive governor in Alborz County (Qazvin province).
  • Burning down an IRGC Basij militia base in Tehran.
  • Setting fire to a Basij militia unit on Nobovat Boulevard, Mashhad.
  • Burning down Basij base on Khajeh Rabie Street, Mashhad, tasked with the repression of students and youth.
  • Setting fire to a Basij propaganda banners in Dezful, Zahedan, and Sarbaz.
  • Setting ablaze the signboard of the Abolfazl Basij base in Zahedan.
  • Burning down a Qassem Soleimani banner in Neyshabur.
  • Setting fire to a propaganda banner for the regime’s proxies in Tehran.

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, coinciding with Pezeshkian’s visit to Sistan and Baluchestan province and his hollow promises for the underprivileged Baluch, Resistance Units welcomed him by raising banners and signs with striking slogans:

  • Pezeshkian, you thief and corrupt man, Baluchestan is not your place, go away.
  • Zahedan is no place for murderers.
  • Pezeshkian’s record: over 470 executions in 100 days.
  • Pezeshkian should know that the Baluch will not compromise over the blood of the martyrs of Zahedan and Khash’s Bloody Friday.
  • Sistan and Baluchestan is no place for murderers. Pezeshkian, leave.
  • Pezeshkian the liar, where are the results of your promises?
  • Pezeshkian is no different than his predecessors. His leash is in the hand of Khamenei.

On Friday, November 22, 2024, following the demolition of homes belonging to impoverished Baluch residents, Resistance Units carried out anti-regime activities in Zahedan, holding placards that called out Pezeshkian’s hypocrisy and the regime’s crimes:

  • Demolishing the homes of impoverished Baluch people is Pezeshkian’s achievement.
  • Pezeshkian, your achievement is the rise in executions and killings of fuel carriers. Leave Baluchistan.
  • The response to the tortures by Khamenei and Pezeshkian’s police is uprising.
  • The tremors of collapse are evident throughout the regime.
  • The only message is regime change
  • We don’t want a regime that kills Baluch people. Long live the Democratic Republic of Iran.
  • Baluchestan’s cry: Death to the oppressor, whether Shah or mullahs.
  • We will fight until the dictator falls.
  • The response to executions and amputation of prisoners’ fingers is uprising against Khamenei and Pezeshkian.

Last month, the regime’s forces demolished the makeshift homes of impoverished Baluch residents in Zibashahr, Chabahar. In response, the rebellious youth targeted and destroyed the oppressive centers of the police deployed to enforce suppression through the municipality.

These brave youth taught another lesson to the destroyers of Baluch homes and the regime through arson attacks at the IRGC Basij Command Headquarters in Tehran, the Imam Hassan IRGC Basij base in Kermanshah, and one of the centers of fundamentalism in Shiraz.
