As Iran approaches the sixth anniversary of the great November 2019 uprising, the nation’s heroic rebellious youth have unleashed a fiery campaign against the centers of suppression and crime run by the executioner regime. In a series of daring operations, they have honored the memory of the uprising’s martyrs and sent an unmistakable message to the ruling mullahs: the spirit of resistance is more alive than ever, and the flames of that rebellion will not be extinguished.
In a powerful wave of defiance on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the rebellious youth struck at IRGC Basij bases and organs of suppression. They set fire to images of the regime’s founder Ruhollah Khomeini, its supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and its terror master Qassem Soleimani in cities across the country:
- Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Rasht
- Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Tehran
- Setting fire to a signboard of the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Qazvin
- Setting fire to a regime building in Jazmurian (South Rudbar)
- Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Mashhad
- Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei in Gorgan
- Setting fire to a banner of Khomeini, Khamenei, and Soleimani in Isfahan
- Setting fire to a banner of Khomeini in Tehran
- Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei and Qassem Soleimani on a bridge in Tehran
- Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei and Soleimani in Mashhad
- Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei in Ahvaz
- Setting fire to a billboard of the terror master Qassem Soleimani in Dezful
- Setting fire to a signboard for an IRGC base in South Rudbar
- Setting fire to a signboard of the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Cheram (Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province)
- Setting fire to a regime war propaganda banner in Tehran
These operations followed another round of 30 fiery actions that took place on November 2, all in tribute to the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising.
The anniversary holds profound significance for the Iranian people. In November 2019, protests initially sparked by a massive gasoline price hike rapidly evolved into a nationwide uprising in over 190 cities. The people’s economic grievances transformed into political demands, with chants of “Death to Khamenei” echoing through the streets, calling for the overthrow of the entire regime. Terrified by the scale and intensity of the protests, Khamenei gave a direct order to his security forces: “Do whatever it takes to end it.” This unleashed a massacre. The regime’s forces gunned down at least 1,500 unarmed protesters in the streets, creating one of the bloodiest chapters in the Islamic Republic’s history.
Fearing a repeat of that explosive public anger, the clerical regime has resorted to its most trusted tool of control: terror. It has dramatically escalated its use of executions to intimidate the populace and crush dissent. In October 2025 alone, the regime hanged at least 285 prisoners, setting a horrific new record for brutality in the 21st century. This brings the total number of recorded executions in the first ten months of 2025 to nearly 1,500, more than double the number from the same period last year. The regime hopes that by creating a climate of fear, it can prevent the simmering rage of the Iranian people from boiling over once again.
But the activities of the rebellious youth prove that this strategy is failing. With their powerful and fiery attacks on the organs of murder and plunder, and by setting fire to the images of those who ordered and carried out the November massacre, these brave vanguards are keeping the spirit of the uprising alive. They show that despite the mass arrests, the torture chambers, and the gallows, the memory of the 1,500 martyrs fuels a new generation of resistance.
On the eve of the glorious November anniversary, the pioneering rebels have brought the message of the uprising to the youth and oppressed people of Iran. They have demonstrated that the fiery spirit of November continues, and they will not relent in their fight to reclaim their country from the clutches of the tyrannical mullahs.
