Rebellious youth in Khorasan Razavi province targeted the main office of the Judiciary in Khorasan Razavi province with explosions. This act was in response to the execution of Baluch prisoners and a recent joint statement by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in Sistan and Baluchestan province pertaining to the arrest of 19 members of a PMOI network in this province.
On October 26, Iran’s regime hanged five Baluch prisoners in Birjand Central Prison as part of its killing spree and heightened rate of executions. Similar group executions were carried out in the previous weeks.
On October 30, the MOIS and IRGC jointly issued a statement, claiming to have arrested 19 PMOI member, making unsubstantiated claim that these individuals had targeted military and SSF (State Security Force) facilities while carrying out multiple operations. The statement also includes the baseless and ridiculous allegation that PMOI forces were not only involved in causing disruption and insecurity but also in “assassinating well-known ethnic and religious figures.”
In response to these allegations, the PMOI spokesperson stated that if Khamenei believes he can suppress Zahedan and the Baluch people amidst its warmongering in Gaza, he is sorely mistaken and will face a resolute response from the Baluch people and the entire Iranian population.
